Itinerary

Meet a guide at your hotel in Montego Bay or Grand Palladium, the board a climate-controlled vehicle for the trip to the village of Nine Mile, where Bob Marley was born and eventually buried.

Visit Marley’s birthplace, explore Mount Zion, then visit the Ethiopian church where Bob Marley was laid to rest alongside his guitar. A Rastafarian tour guide will be available to show you around the property, including the room where Bob Marley slept as a young child, using a rock as a pillow.

Following your tour of Nine Mile, continue through the lush mountains on the way to Hope Road, in Kingston, a 60-mile (96-km) trip. You’ll see the Victorian house that Bob Marley lived in as an adult—he bought the property in 1974 from his manager, Chris Blackwell—and see his records, awards, and clothing at Tuff Gong Studios, now a museum dedicated to Marley’s life.

After visiting the studio museum, begin the return trip from Kingston to your hotel in Montego Bay or Grand Palladium Resort, where this full-day tour concludes.
