Our driver, Kenneth, was punctual, friendly, and has a very easy going polite attitude. The company gave us flexibility with the time frame of our tour and they also allowed us to make our own list of places to visit. A few minutes prior to our pick-up, they gave us a heads-up call to say that the driver will be outside in 5 minutes. In addition, the van was clean and they provided local snacks and water bottles for us. Note: You have to do your own research on the places you intend to visit because the company/driver does not provide background information on them. This is something that the company could consider including to make the experience more meaningful. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience and we do recommend this company 🙂

Rainy Day but many sites to see

Considering we had rain on and off the day of our tour it could not have worked out better. Kenneth took us around the island and we got to see so much. He took us to a great restaurant for lunch, The Cliffs, which was wonderful. I highly recommend this tour.

Our private tour of Malta was very nice. I would have liked more information about the sights from our driver. Instead of telling us about Malta, he had videos on an iPad about each area for us to watch while he drove. But if I’m watching videos in the car, I’m not getting to look around at the scenery while we drive. My husband took to asking him lots of questions about the island, which he answered. He was friendly and nice, but he was basically a taxi driver to each area. He didn’t walk around with us or talk to us about anything. We didn’t get to walk around Valletta.. not enough time.. which I’m not sure how that happened since some things we wanted to see were closed on a Sunday. Next time I will take a cheaper group tour.. at least those tour guides tell things about the area.

Our private driver, Alberto was wonderful. He went above and beyond to make sure that we got to see the maximum amount of things in this in our time with him. He was so sweet. He also gave us a souvenir gift at the end of our tour. I can highly recommend this tour as for Alberto.

Driver was on time, drove us to Medina where we explored on foot while he waited for us, drove us on to lunch with interesting stops on the way, and dropped off at St. John’s in Valletta at the end of the day. VERY nice car and vert polite driver Kevin!

Perfect day in Malta

Very good experience. Kenneth, our driver, was waiting for us at the information desk near the exit of the cruise terminal and texted us about 15 minutes before we were supposed to meet. He spent a few minutes with us to map out our day, suggesting alternate sites and routes. Once we agreed on a plan, he drove us to the places we wanted to see, let us know where he would be located for pick-up, and provided info about what we were seeing along the way. We saw St. Peter's Pool, visited the Marsaxlokk harbor, rode the boats at the Blue Grotto, and spent some time walking in the old city of Mdina. Our tour started at 0800 and ended back at Valletta town square at noon. The driver picked a route that stayed mostly ahead of the tour buses so much less crowded than it could have been. And we were never pressured (or even asked) to go to shops or sales exhibits, which was a refreshing change from other tours we experienced. Perfect day in Malta!

Kenneth was our driver! He was absolutely wonderful. The itinerary on Viator is a sample itinerary. He worked with us on where would interest us to go. I am traveling with my 91 year old grandma. He was always sure to drop us off near the entrance to places to accommodate my grandma and helped her when she needed it. Because our tour was on Independence Day, the little “shuttle” to take people up/down the big hill to catch the boat to see the Blue Grotto was not in service. Kenneth drove our car down the hill so my Grandma could do the boat and waited for us there until we were done so he could take us back up. Without him doing this, my Grandma would not have been able to do this. I also had mentioned I was hoping to find Prickly Pear Jam before we flew home. He drove us to Dingli Cliffs (which was an extra and much appreciated stop) because people were selling jam and other things there. Kenneth really went out of his way for us to make sure we had a wonderful day and was so accommodating to my Grandma. I would highly recommend this tour! Kenneth was the best, thank you!!

Perfect way to see Malta. We were able to see so much of the island. The cliffs, rotunda, Medina, Blue grotto (though it was closed due to rough seas). Our driver recommended a great restaurant in Mdina with amazing food & views. We then had a private boat tour that our driver dropped us off & picked us up afterwards. Highly recommend. Cost less than some bus tours we did at other islands for our family if 5 & we enjoyed this so much more!

We had been to Malta before and wanted to see other sites. Duncan was our wonderul driver. He took us to the Artisian Village and to coastal towns, perfect for our needs. Duncan had an excellent command of English and he knew which vendors were honest and fair priced. At the end of the tour, he had called ahead to ensure that the restaurant he recommended was open and available.

Last week we did a trip to Malta and our driver Kenneth was awesome. He was very helpful, friendly, punctual & very polite. He was very flexible and worked through our list and gave very valuable recommendations on places to visit. The van was clean, provided snacks, water bottles and very considerate for the kids as they had kids juices. Kenneth was very flexible with time and not only shared the local tips but took us to lot of places in Malta. We had such a wonderful experience and lot of credit it goes to Kenneth. Big recommendation for him and the company.

Worst tour by Viator

The driver didn't have an itinerary with him. Poor arrangement of the tour. We ate lunch at 15:00 and the Blue Grotto was closed when we finally got there. He drove the minibus like a racing car that made every one who sat in the back of the van getting sick.

Petit bémol, pour l'hypogée, nous ne savions pas que nous devions prendre les billets avant et donc nous n'avons pas pu le faire dommage. Sinon journée excellente et apprécié par nous 6.
