We like a walking tour and although my other half wanted to cut it short and go shopping (again), I think a walking tour with a well informed guide is a great way of getting a feel for a city. Emma didn't disappoint. Not sure where I goth the impression that Melbourne retained a lot of its colonial past, it isn't that, instead we found a modern and vibrant city with less of its past preserved than you might expect. We thought Emma was great and gave us a great foundation for more exploring during our stay. The Queen Victoria Market is a must, especially the food market.

Our guide’s name was Maeve and her knowledge of the city and its history made the tour a marvellous experience. She very quickly understood what we were interested in learning and seeing and she really made the tour tailored for our interests. She is a wonderful story teller and the three hours went by in a flash. It was worth every penny!

Wonderful city tour with tons of history . Our tour guide was so knowledgable and filled our day with amazing buildings, gardens, shops, arcades ( shop alleys) , street art walls and ended at the public library. We walked the entire tour and saw so many amazing areas with so many styles. Our tour guide Maeve had such insight to the history in Melbourne . She was a delight to spend the day with. Highly recommend booking a tour of the city .

We had a fantastic time learning about the city of Melbourne with Rhonda as our tour guide. We have been here a couple of times but only ventured out on our own. This customized tour is the best way to go if you are a first time visitor or have been here before. We saw what we wanted to see and didn’t have to waste time seeing things we weren’t interested in. The tour was ours to decide. We even cut it early when we were satisfied and had a beer with our new friend Rhonda. She even went out of her way to book me a hair appointment before we arrived, which was so helpful. Rhonda is the best!

Sebastien was amazing! He gave me, a solo traveler, a great tour of the CBD where I felt like I had a great overview of what Melbourne had to offer. He took me to some hidden gems like the State Library, which was fabulous. I highly recommend it!

It was the first time we had the opportunity to have a private tour customized based on our areas of interest. What a great idea to be sent a questionnaire prior to our trip, to help our guide plan it for us. Went for a three-hour tour on the day of our arrival in Melbourne after having traveled all the way from the east coast of USA. Our exceptional guide Rhonda kept us going and made the three hours feel too short. Highly recommended!

Maeve was AMAZING! She asked what was most appealing to us in order to ensure we had the best experience possible. When we shared that we were open to anything that was uniquely Australian, she catered our tour to bring in as much Australian history as could be compacted into a few hours. Maeve was, in a word, amazing. Not only did she know Melbourne like the back of her hand, but she is very well read on the history of the city and Australia itself. We learned a lot of the "not so well known" stories of the city. I told her she should be a historian. She was prompt, communicated with us prior to our visit, and was an absolute pleasure to be around. My wife and I are so grateful we got to spend the time with her. She's a pro.

We had an awesome day exploring Melbourne with Chris. He is very knowledgeable , enthusiastic and fun guide.
