passing through melbourne city in a balloon basket is a wonderful and cheering experience. both pilots are experienced and nice, glad to meet them.

Taller people be warned...

Taller people be warned! If you stand in the middle of the basket (like we did) the top of your head will get hot from the burners! My husband (6'1") had to wear the hood of his coat to avoid the burning/hot feeling. I'm 5'2" and I could also feel the heat. Otherwise, great experience! Setting up the balloon was interactive and fun as well and the "tear down". The guides (Dom and Jason) were cheery fellows and enthusiastic about piloting balloons. The ride itself was serene and beautiful. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious and gave time to talk to fellow passengers or ask the pilot(s) questions.

The flight was cancelled because of weather- we were not informed and arrived on time for flight. A refund has been requested as it’s impossible to reschedule flight.

WOW, just WOW. What an incredible experience - the company were very professional, our pilot Dom was a super star, the views (and photos we took!) were absolutely amazing. The breakfast at Sofitel afterwards was also fantastic, a great way to finish up. I highly recommend Picture This Ballooning and the flight over Melbourne City.

Amazing experience being able to get a bird's eye view of Melbourne city as the sun rose, and breakfast at Sofitel was delicious with a gorgeous view.
