Walking Tour of Dijon

Note: This was a walking tour of Dijon. Our Tour Guide, Romain, met us at our hotel and was there early. Romain guided us through the streets of Old Town, Dijon, explaining the fascinating history of the architecture and city. Romain was very flexible as to what we wanted to see. He had his route, and adjusted and added based on the interest of our group. Romain was a wealth of knowledge, not just about Dijon, but all of Burgundy, and France for that matter. Was a really good experience, highly recommend Romain.

Guide Provence - Nein danke!

So eine miserable, überteuerte Dienstleistung habe ich zuvor noch nie erleben müssen. Die angeblich Deutsch sprechende Reiseführerin suchte unentwegt entweder nach dem passenden deutschen Wort oder nach einer Umschreibung. Außerdem hatte sie weder das historische noch das örtliche Wissen. Die aus Aix en Provence stammende Dame musste mehrmals nach dem richtigen Weg in Marseille überlegen, der für Marseille berühmte Schriftsteller Jean-Claude Izzo war ihr kein Begriff und Rückfragen konnte sie in keinem Fall beantworten. Infos, die sie per E-Mail nachreichen wollte, sind nach einer Woche noch nicht eingegangen. Ich fordere den Anbieter "Guide Provence" hiermit zu einer Gutschrift auf - sonst widerrufe ich den eingegangenen Vertrag wegen arglistischer Täuschung.
