Our guide knew many fields to choose from with interesting views. He was very knowledgable about many aspects of the lavender as well. Such a beautiful trip! I would remind those with bee allergies that the fields are always buzzing, they are friendly and keep to themselves though.

I had a wonderful experience on the Valensole Lavender Fields tour from Marseille and would definitely recommend it.
My tour happened during the heat wave, and the team was very proactive in adjusting the itinerary to an evening departure so everyone could enjoy the lavender fields in more comfortable temperatures. I really appreciated how accommodating and customer-focused they were throughout the process.
The group was small, which made the experience feel relaxed and well organized. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and spoke English, French, and Italian. He explained the different types of lavender, how essential oil is produced, and shared interesting local recommendations along the way.
In addition to the stunning lavender fields, we visited the beautiful village of Valensole, a local olive oil producer, and even stopped by L’Occitane when we had some extra time. The lavender fields were carefully chosen, and arriving during golden hour made for some incredible views and photos, ending the day with a beautiful sunset.
Overall, it was a very well-planned tour with excellent customer service, a great guide, and a lovely atmosphere. Thank you for such a memorable day!

Incredible experience! Our tour guide was THE best and knew which fields were the best and most mature. Plus he gave us facts about the city on the way there and pointed out places of interest to visit. 100% best tour!

A great five hour tour with free time at an organic farm who produce lavender, olives and now also wine. More free time had in the town of Valensole, be sure to bring cash as many of the shops have a minimum amount for card payments. So wonderful to see lavender and sunflower fields as well as quaint little French country towns. Truly a dream come true.

The tour guide did an amazing job of explaining everything and the field's were spectacular. It was a very short trip though. May have to book longer version of the tour in the future.

This tour could have been so much better, but felt we lost out big time for what we paid. We understand the original tour guide had a personal emergency so had to leave urgently, but then one couple had to get back early for their onward journey so the rest of us also had to rush back. Why could you not arrange something so the rest of us could get a full tour ?
Response from Host, Jul 2024
Dear Heena, guide's husband (young healthy man) died of heart attack while you were starting the tour. Instead of cancelling, in the busiest moment of the season we found and sent you a partner to perform the tour (in addition loosing money compared to simply cancelling the tour). Your group was extremely lucky to even go on a tour on that day! Kind regards, Silvio

I had a wonderful time. The host was awesome , he brought us on different places with different Lavander . Didn’t you know that lavander smells different from place to place ?

The lavender fields were massive and the flowers were at just the right bloom when we were there. It was a surreal experience for me. Simon was a very funny and knowledgeable guide.

Very kind, patient, and helpful driver/tour guide. Nice little towns on the way to the beautiful fields of Lavender at Valensole! Relaxing, and friendly atmosphere. Nice conversation in the vehicle among the passengers.

Very recommended. The guide is very knowledgeable, he took us to multiple fields, each prettier than the previous one, and gave us sufficient time to take photos. We also made a stop at the village of Valensole and were given enough time to see around.

He is definitely know the area, and took us to the right place with less people and good field. We took so many beautiful pictures. And he is very considerate to us giving restroom stops and lavender/local plants anecdotes.
Since we had small child who doesn't like long shopping time, it works perfectly, but I have to say, time in the Valensole village for shop/snack is a bit short edge (45min today). So if you are expecting longer shop time, you might want to tell him ahead of the time.
(But remember, this trip is 5hr activity, so it is natural to have less time to shop)
As I said, it works perfectly with little one who just enjoys field with lavender scents.
Such a beautiful day! Many thanks to our driver!

This trip was very good, I loved the endless purple lavender fields, we had a small tasting degustation in the local area, where I tried homemade olive oil, lavender honey, syrups, and could smell the different type of lavender. The small Valensole village is super cute. Driver was very nice and spoke English well, I’ve met nice people on this trip, it’s a good value for money trip for sure!

Overall, it was an experience.
The stay with the first producer was definitely too short.
Our guide (Doris?) was unfortunately not fit. However, she still made a great effort. Actually, a different guide was needed...
The van, a Ford, had very uncomfortable seats.
