Nicky was prompt in her pick up at our resort. We had a lovely 2 hours to explore Ronda and we were given a map showing the important and interesting sites. We turn headed to 2 wineries. Sonia was so knowledgeable and it was obvious that her job at the winery was also a passion. We tasted amazing wines and had delicious appetizers. We would do this trip again in a heartbeat.

We had an absolutely amazing time on our Ronda and winery tour with Roots. Ronda itself is stunning, truly one of the most beautiful places we visited.
The experience was made even more special by visiting two private wineries, which felt intimate and unique. Our guide, Nicky, was excellent, very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about wine, which made the tour even more engaging and enjoyable.
We were also with a really fun group of people who were such a pleasure to be around, which made the day even more enjoyable.
Everything was thoughtfully planned, and we had such a great time from start to finish. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for a memorable and elevated experience!

We had such a wonderful time with Nicky. She was very engaging, highly skilled at keeping the group dynamic light and energetic. Her knowledge of local history and (most importantly) wine knows no bounds. We had a fabulous visit and tours of two local wineries, exploring the cellars and the winemaking process unique to each property. The tapas and lunch were divine, and Nicky crafted the perfectly flowing itinerary that kept the whole day moving.

Nicky was great. Extremely knowledgeable about wine. Wineries were ok but Nicky’s professional knowledge of wines made up for wines just being ok. Ronda was fantastic - beautiful

Beautiful day trip to Ronda! We were met in Marbella and driven with new friends from Glasgow and Norway to the city and region of Ronda. Ronda is a stunningly beautiful hill town in Andulusia. We had time to explore the city and then our tour guide Nicky took us to 2 wineries in the region. We tasted 8 wines in all and had wonderful food to go with them. Nicky was fantastic and very knowledgeable about all of the wine industry in this unique area—a fascinating day and delicious wines. A trip not to miss if you enjoy learning about an area and good wine!

Best tour of our entire trip. Nicky was great to work with and a pleasure to be with. She is friendly, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable about wine. In addition she had so much information about Ronda and the areas we passed through during the trip. We booked the small group tour and it wound up just being us and one other couple. We got 2 hours on our own to explore Ronda and then stopped at two cute wineries. At the second winery we were also given a tapas lunch that was freshly prepared by the owner..it was delicious. I highly recommend this tour!

Nicky was a wonderful host, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the area and the wines we drank. First Nicky drove up the mountain to Ronda where we stopped for two hours to explore. Old beautiful city with one of the oldest bullrings in Spain. We were able to explore at our own pace and ended up at a charming wine bar. Nicky then picked us up and took us to two vineyards, first Bodegas Conrad where after the tour we all sat and tasted their wines while eating a tasty selection of cheeses, sliced meats and homemade dips and veggie pate. Next we were off to Cortijo Los Aguilares for another tour and more tastings. Having Nicky, a trained sommelier as our host really made these tastings fun and educational. It was a long day, but one that we will not forget. Thanks to Nicky and the quides at each winery. Highly recommend, especially if you love wine.

Puente Nuevo, Old Town Ronda, and the wine tours were equally amazing. Our tour guide was energetic, and sociable. She was knowledgeable about Ronda, wine tasting and its production. Her excellent driving skills were well appreciated especially through those winding roads up to Puente Nuevo with its breathtaking view.

This was a personalized tour with a small group (6) led by Nicky, a local, well informed, clearly spoken tour guide in a comfortable van. It was a great itinerary with exposure to Ronda and two boutique wineries - a pleasurable day! We recommend this tour!

A spectacular day with Roger winding up the mountain to Ronda- a beautiful town full of picturesque views, history and shops. Freda warmly welcomed us and took us through the wine process followed by an amazing wine tasting and typical Spanish lunch. Next, Sonya explained the organic process of wine making at Kieninger with lovely tasting room. Can’t wait for our wine to arrive!

Nicky picked us up promptly , and we heading off on our day trip . She went above and beyond , very informative and friendly. Stopped at Conrad Bodego where Freda looked after us . She was fab and we all “ learned a lot “ and had a great time . Then we headed off to Ridega Arcia Hidalgo where they made us an amazing lunch with wine .

Absolutely wonderful day in Ronda! Nicky was a wonderful guide that gave us plenty of free time in Ronda as well as knowledge descriptions of the 2 wineries. The wineries gracious hosts were extremely informative as we explored the grounds and processes. Nicky’s expertise in the wine industry helped us understand the uniqueness of the region’s resources. The lunch was plentiful and delicious! Ask her about sherry wines, too!

The Ronda wine tour was amazing. Before and after the tour the company reached out to make sure everything was perfect. Roger our tour guide was phenomenal and so kind. The Conrad vineyard we went to was superb and freeda did an amazing job explaining the wines and process. The wines we had at the Conrad along with our lunch was delectable and so enjoyable. We didn’t want to leave! Fabulous Ronda wine tour!!

I have been to Ronda several times and had never experienced any of the wine tastings or vineyards. I was so surprised at the quality of the wines they are producing. Both wineries we visitied had beautiful tasting areas and surroundings. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the wines, vintners and the area's wine culture. This tour takes a small group, so it made it more personal.
My friend had never been to Ronda, so I liked that the tour included some time to explore the town itself before heading to the wineries.
I recommend this to everyone who enjoys wine!

Nicky organized a great day. We had some time in the morning on our own to explore the town of Ronda and it great views. Then she picked us back up and we went with our small group to 2 lovely wineries. Enjoyed some delicious food and wine and learned about the wines in Ronda and its history. Highly recommend!

WOW - Fantastic experience. I joined solo and felt right at home as it was a perfect-sized tour group of all ages. Nicky was our charming guide and has worked in wine for decades. She made the tour authentic and informative from a regional historical standpoint but most impressively, her wine knowledge made each of the tastings incredibly interesting. It was like I was in a master's course on wine.
The Bodegas we visited were quaint, local and had unique histories. All of the food was delicious and I fully enjoyed the wines.
Of course, Ronda as a location in Spain is not to be missed, so I enjoyed visiting the town before the tastings. Though, I do wish that we had another hour in town. We were definitely on a schedule, so I had to sprint to see some of the sights.....whereas Ronda is a town that begs to be strolled through.
All in all, I couldn't recommend this experience more and would love to do more tours with Rootz!

We were able to visit two wineries in Ronda and learn about the history of each of them. Our tour guide Nicky did a great job explaining more about the wine region and guiding us through the tasting. Before the wine tours we were given about 1.5 hours on our own to explore Ronda. Then we went to the wine tour and had a late lunch and tapas. Drive to Ronda from Marbella is over one hour. Both wineries were great to visit and offered about 3-4 tastings each. Would recommend if you have an extra day to spare.
