What a beautiful experience! Our drivers are always early and courteous. Our tour guide Tom a native of Gibraltar was a fabulous guide as he narrated and showed us all the glory of his hometown. The St Michael’s cave is awesome we didn’t want to exit ! - we climbed all around “the rock” , the monkeys were so adorable and fun- all over their turf just amusing everyone!!! The siege tunnel was very cool history & lunch with shops at the center of town wrapped up a really great day !! We had no idea there was so much to learn in Gibraltar - thank you Tom for being a great guide !

A wonderful small group tour. Very informative with a lot of time to walk around and enjoy the sites.

From beginning to end this is a well oiled tour. We were picked up on time from our hotel. Driven and dropped off at the Gibraltar boarder. Picked up by the tour guide and learned
so much from our tour guide Tom - a native of Gibraltar.

It was a good experience. Loved the caves and the views from the top. The monkeys were fun to watch. I would recommend this tour if you need something to do but would not go out of the way to do it.

Thank you for sharing your experience! We're glad you enjoyed the caves, the stunning views from the top, and of course—the cheeky monkeys always steal the show! While it may not have been a once-in-a-lifetime moment for you, we appreciate your honest recommendation and hope to surprise you with a tour that does go above and beyond next time!

Our guide Thomas was amazing. We learned so much about the history of Gibraltar and also about him and his family that have lived there for generations. I would truly recommend him.

This tour was a great way to experience Gibraltar's history, and Tom was a fantastic guide. Pick up went smoothly, and the tour started straight away as Tom capably drove us to and up the Rock. The views on the drive up between points of interest where we got out of the vehicle were themselves worth the tour. The caves we visited were beautiful or historic.
Our party was mainly interested in military history, and Tom tailored our time to that interest. He added to a stop at the World War II tunnels, an exhibition that is being expanded to include more artifacts and museum pieces. Because we did so, we had less time to stroll the area around the city, but we were willing to make that trade.
Be sure to hit Roy's for fish and chips before being transported to the border crossing for your return to Spain.

Tom was a great guide. We learned a lot about Gibraltar, its history and culture. The caves were fascinating and the monkeys were a treat.

This was a very unique experience. We loved seeing the monkeys at the top and one even jumped on grandmas back. My daughter’s favorite was St Michael’s Cave, especially the light show. We had time for a quick lunch and some shopping before heading back to our hotel.

We had a great excursion to Gibraltar from Marbella. The pick-up and border crossing details were very clearing explained in a message the day before our trip which made everything very easy. Our guide, Tom, was very interesting as we visited the various sites on our tour and also in sharing about his life as a native Gibraltarian. Highlights included the beautiful views and multiple stops to observe the monkeys.

Such an amazing tour! Dylan was amazing, you get a lot of information, and drive to important spots. A must do, better to use a guide than walk around my yourself.

Our English speaking guide Tom was terrific. Very knowledgeable about Gibraltar
The ride was smooth and comfortable however neither driver spoke English. For an hour and a half each way that was inexcusable. Also very confusing directions where to meet the driver waited 1/2 hour because he was late. For the cost of this trip, it was a rip off. Don’t take it

The tour was wonderful. The tour guide was awesome and we learned so much about the history and culture of Gibraltar. We really enjoyed the macaques, that were very friendly and well behaved.

Unfortunately none as we completely lacked the personal guide to give background information to the visited points. The driver put in a low quality tape while driving, so most of us did not understand a word. We were simply kicked out of the bus at the stops with nobody accompanied us or give us information.
We booked an expensive private tour in order to get maximum input and individual answers to our questions and it was the opposite: completely useless from the information point of view. The historical part of The Great Siege Tunnels was skipped completely though it was the point we were most interested in. The cave was nice to see but with no information about it, a huge disappointment.
The worst thing: There was no information and explanation that there was no guide for us. Some of us understand Spanish and heard the driver talking with another guy saying our guide left with another group before we arrived because we stuck in a traffic jam at the border and arrived later than planned. But we were not at all informed about it and did not get any update on changes of the booked program. This behaviour creates the impression of having been totally ripped off by hoping we would not understand what they were talking and therefore would not report Viator what happened.
After our wedding we had invited our friends to this trip expecting a fun day with great insights into historical Gibraltar but the whole group was so disappointed and we felt so bad having booked it, not even talking about the waste of money as the private guided tour was really expensive.
For everybody booking a tour we recommend to study carefully what you pay for and follow-up carefully what you really get.

Hi Ulf, We do not have any reservations in Ulf's name.
It seems to me that you have written this review in the wrong local operator.
The day before the tour we send a reminder by email or WhatsApp with the entire itinerary and all the relevant information to be considered: the stops you will make, the emergency phone to contact us if any issue to be solved out, etc.
We have not received any complaints -by phone, by email or whatsapp - from any clients who have visited Gibraltar on those dates.

Our driver in Gibraltar was excellent. He has lived here all his life and his knowledge was vast and so interesting. He allowed us to take as much time as we needed to experience the Rock.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Gibraltar! Our driver Juan was very friendly, making our commute to Gibraltar comfortable. Our tour guide Tom was amazing! As a life long resident of Gibraltar, he shared personal historical accounts, as well as shared a tremendous amount of information regarding the area! The tours to St. Michael’s Cave and the Siege Tunnel were really interesting! Of course seeing the Macaque monkeys in their natural habitat was entertaining! Strongly recommend the experience!

We were very lucky that we had Thomas as our tour guide (on his 50th Birthday). Born and raised in Gibraltar, Thomas gave us an amazing tour of the the Rock with a big, fascinating dose of history on the side. Friendly with the apes, Thomas told us all about their history, their maintenance, and even their birth control plans! We had several close up interactions, and learned a ton about the animals, their habitat, and their husbandry. We also enjoyed a tour of the St. Michael's Cave and the Siege Tunnels. He was an amazing guide and really made the trip worthwhile.
The tour will pick you up at the hotel, and then drop you off about 100m from the border crossing. You will walk across the border, and then meet your tour guide just on the other side, to whisk you off to the rock. The same happens on return.
Overall, I would highly recommend the tour, and especially Thomas!

Everything about this tour was top rate. Hotel pickup was punctual and driving by Juan very comfortable and safe. The guide, Tom, was most interesting and informative. His driving around some of the narrow roads on the Rock was commendable. Highlights included visiting the incredible St Michael’s cave with its amazing light and sound show of the rock formations, entering the Great Siege tunnel system excavated as a defence against the Spaniards and French , and a visit to the upper Rock nature reserve including the Sky Walk and seeing Barbary Apes with Tom supplying much information about their welfare and breeding programs. The tour concluded at Casemates Square with time for shops and the many restaurants.

Everything about this tour from start to finish, including our personal drivers, Alex and David, was brilliant. Tom was our guide for the day in Gibraltor and made the experience truly incredible. As a born and bred Gibraltarian, Tom gave us a unique insight into growing up in Gibraltor and an excellent historic overview. One of the most amazing day trip experiences ever.

It was definitely different and new experience and if you have a one day, it is a reasonable price. We saw few monkey and the caves were beautiful.

I went on this day trip with my parents who are somewhat elderly. Our pick up was from Malaga and our driver was very communicative, professional and helpful. The vehicle and drive was quite lovely. Once we got there, Tom was our tour guide, and 100% the best guide you could get. He is a local, knows exactly where to go, what to do and knows everything. He was clearly passionate and informed, we had the best day! Gibraltar was also AMAZING! 100% recommend!

This was a fun day. We had a private full day tour for 4 people. The tour guide was nice however, I felt she should have been more informative. She walked very fast and lots of times during the tour we didn't even know where she was. I felt for a private tour she was not very attentive to the four of us. We also didn't realize until we reached Gibraltor that she was not allowed to give the tour on the rock area itself. We were then turned over to another guide with a bus load of people and all of a sudden our private tour was no longer private. This should had beeb explained in the description

We had a wonderful time! Our tour guide, Rocio, made us feel like we were traveling with a good friend. She was very knowledgeable and gave us great information on Gibraltar and Spain. She made sure that we experienced all of the highlights of Gibraltar. She spoke English well and included everyone in entertaining, interesting and fun conversations. She also gave us good advise on other places to visit in the area. This tour is well worth the price. My whole family highly recommends this tour!
