The trip was supposed to be a full day experience and our tour guide only took 3hrs from 9am to 12pm

I did the Maputo city tour with Calisto. From the start the guide was very informative regarding all the attractions and very kind. He drove me to all the listed spots and we stop by at all of them, which was amazing to capture some pictures and explore. I also got some very beautiful souvenirs! I would recomment this tour for first time travelers in Maputo, it's a great way to get to know the city.

The tour was EXTREMELY short. Less than 2 hours! I wasn't even offered water! The car was hot I might as well have walked. I honestly regret it. And for USD 78, it was NOT worth it.

The first thing we do before starting a tour is to make sure that the car is clean, ac is working and we have water in the car. And we did all that before your tour(and the guide he informed right at the start of the tour that there was water available)
This Tour is designed to take around 3hrs and we never rush our clients, having sometimes tours that take more than 3hrs due to various reasons such as stops in restaurants or places not included in the itinerary, ect. We are always open for tailored activities during the tour whenever it is possible without charging any extra fee. This 3hrs, however, include all places mentioned in the description of the tour and the stops to visit the places, e.g central market(15-20min), Tunduro gardens(7-10min), Feima(15-20min), etc.
Your tour, that took around 2h45min(09am to 11h45am), did not take the usual 3hrs because the guide followed your request not to get off the car in most of the places we visit.
Now, despite being a Tour by Car, we do get off the car to visit the places(Not compulsary to get off the car but we do RECOMMEND) and we normally RECOMMEND a short walk in the begining of the tour from the cathedral to the town hall as they are one next to the other(1 or 2min walk). Again, both getting off the car and the short walk from cathedral to town hall are just RECOMMENDATIONS as we believe it is better to see places like markets, train station, gardens from inside but we do not force people to get off te car or walk and we always do what our passengers prefer.
We understand that it was a hot day and we assume that that was the reason why you prefered to stay in the car and not get off as the car was fresher(with ac on during most of the time) so it sounds a bit controversial when you say the car was hot.
As you were the only one in the tour we expected it to be as most tailored as possible and that it would meet your expectations. We are really sorry to know that it did not meet your expectations.

The guides were very hard at work and a great day to fulfill in Maputo and spoke good English. In the port terminal, we found them immediately. Unfortunately, the air conditioning of the bus was defective. It could be replaced after 1/3 of the tour. The tour was very nice, except for the fact that half an hour was taken in a souvenir area and the time was then spent on the other booked sights (according to the book).
