Great experience to see lots of animals in their safe habitat. The pick up from our hotel was right on time, the guide who was also the driver, was excellent. He was a good driver gave us a lot of information about the animals. I think next time we would make sure that we are in one of the open air vehicles. We were in a van, which was very nice with side windows that rolled down and also the comfort of air-conditioning, but the open air, I think would be the way to go. I thought it was an excellent value for the money. Ours did not include Park entrance fee.

This has been the best day of my Mozambique trip. I stayed in Maputo and got picked up from my accomodation. Don't be afraid of an early pick-up (5 AM). It will all be worth it!
Border cross was smoth as. No worries for a EU-citizen.
Kruger is amazing, don't let other people tell you otherwise. There might be a high amount of 'common' animals, but still, it is an amazing site for my first real safari. We saw: heaps of: elephans/giraffes/wildebeest/zebras/impalas/monkeys/hippo's. We were lucky to catch a lion with 3 chubs, which is not a common thing.
Service fom Maputo tours was good, I had a very experienced ranger who took its responsibility to spot as much animals as possible in one day. Even after 5 hours of driving around (in 38 degrees). I would recommend this again to everyone!

I had a great tour guide who helped me understand both the culture of Mozambique and Kruger park animal behavior. We had a great time and good memories. Seeing lions, giraffes, hippopotamus, baboons, elephants and various other animals. He is great with people and expertly navigated a busy border crossing minimizing wait times.

I spent a lovely day in Kruger with a very dedicated and easy going guide Alfainho. He was very professional and we found a lot of great animals - the cats were eluding us but he made an incredible effort to find them. Kruger is beautiful and the lunch spot was tasty with excellent service. Depending on the day you go the border could take a bunch of time. In the morning it was speedy but on our return we spent a long time in line. It was a fantastic day trip from Maputo.

Alphaino was amazing he was prompt to timings and very knowledgeable and friendly. He made the border crossing stress free and easy. On the safari we were lucky to have a guide who was originally a travkwr and he was incredible at finding animals. We managed 4/5 of the big 5 and had one of the best lion sightings we’ve seen. Perfect day ! The kruger park is full of wild animals and amazing nature and landscapes. The day has been made perfect mainly because of the driver and guide we had. Alfaindo was helpful, super kind/nice and dedicated to reaching places / wild animals and we've seen 15 different species from buffalos, to impalas, girafes, elans, kudus, elephants, etc etc! Also ! The food stop was nice and with beautiful landscape ! The pick up was on time and we spend a bit more time than expected in the park. So long story short ! I can only recommend that day trip !

A good day trip from Maputo. A bit of a drive but a great experience. Our driver/guide was excellent with a great sense of humour. Nice clean and comfortable car. The border crossings went smoothly. We spent many hours in the park and our guide tried to spot as many animals as he could. A great way to spend a day if you haven't done a safari before.

We had an early departure, which was really welcome as we got to Kruger when it was still morning and the animals were active. Within the first two hours in Kruger we had spotted all of the big five and after that it got much quieter as the animals escaped the heat of the day.
We had a local drive us to Kruger and he did that efficiently. There we had a great local guide running the safari with a safari vehicle.

booked this as a solo traveler and had a wonderful time, the pick-up, driver, boarder crossing, and safari were all flawless. Even while we were driving to Kruger the driver was telling us interesting facts about Maputo and Matola, so it felt like we were on a guided tour of Maputo as well! The communication before was clear regarding the covid test and visa requirements. Over all a trip of a lifetime!

De facto as condições neste momento estão complicadas. Desde as cheias de Janeiro e Fevereiro quase todas as estradas de terra batida continuam fechadas, assim só podemos circular nas estradas principais de alcotrão neste momento.
