Had a lovely tour of Maputo and tasted so many local dishes. Your guide went out of his way. Went to the local market, drank local drinks and vibed a lot. Highly recommend.

The tour company was not respectful of my time! The owner sent me one WhatsApp message prior to the tour to confirm the time to meet. I didn't get any messages the morning of the tour that was supposed to start at 9:00 am so I sent a message at 8:30 am stating I was on the way since I was solo. I didn't get a response and since the meet location was at a museum that was closed, I didn't feel safe waiting alone. The driver called from his phone and still didn't answer but he called the driver's phone back and told him the tour guide was on the way. In short, he finally sends me a message, after I asked him what the tour guide would be wearing and how I would know that its him. The time was now 9:03 and still no tour guide or phone call from the company. By 9:15, still no tour guide so I sent a message to cancel the tour as I no longer felt safe with this company. I was told this company was very good and well known so maybe this was a bad day for business and I was unfortunate one to experience it.

As you may have heard from others and read in the more than a hundred reviews we have on this platform, this is not the standard for our services. Unfortunately, it was not a good day for the tour guide (one of our best guides) as he encountered traffic problems on his way, which caused him to be nearly 20 minutes late. We apologise for the poor communication that day and for the delay in providing updates about the guide. Besides the 100% refund we have already issued because we understand that we did not provide the service as agreed, we are still open to the offer we initially extended to you—a free tour to compensate for all this inconvenience. And please, do not let this experience overshadow your visit to Maputo. We are confident that not only our company can provide better services, but also that Maputo has much more to offer. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We sincerely apologise once again and assure you that we are taking steps to prevent such occurrences in the future. Only had one full day in Maputo, before travelling onwards, and this was the perfect way to spend it! Edilson was an absolutely fantastic guide- passionate, deeply knowledgable, eloquent and helpful. I arrived in Mozambique the night before, so it was a brilliant introduction to the country's history and culture, through the art and architecture. We visited places on this tour I would not have got to otherwise. I did a lot of research before my trip, and this was the only affordable tour I found for a solo traveller, and so happy I did it. Only regret was not having time for the downtown tour, but Edilson made sure I knew how to get where I wanted to see later in the day. Thank you!
