Take a cooking class, it's the best souvenir you can give yourself and it lasts your lifetime and you can share it with others. I enjoyed my cooking class with Cheryl. She was very through on explaining everything. I was the only person in the class and she was graceful enough not to cancel. I recommend this cooking class, have fun and learn to make yummy things!

Chil was really sweet and kind. We were running late due to traffic and she worked with us. She made cooking fun and felt like family when we were done. There was a lot of food - we had left overs for later. Great with instructions and just over all fun way to learn Filipino culture. Inwouldncooknwithbherbagain, anytime.

Such a fabulous experience! Despite the wind we had a great time. Lumpia was delish. Teacher was kind and spoke perfect English. Loved the kitties, especially Toothless!

Authentic Filipino Cooking with basic ingredients so you can recreate the dishes at home! Chyl is very patient, checking in on each student and making sure each dish is perfect. We had individual cooking stations, and made a mountain of food - I was still eating it the next day!

I have just finished my leftovers from this wonderful class with the fabulous Chyl. I learnt how to make a tasty traditional Filipino snack all while chatting away with Chyl about food, the Philippines as well as life in general. It was like cooking with a friend - relaxed and fun. I would definitely recommend it, not least because I had enough food leftover to have for my dinner. Thanks Chyl and Explore Manila Tours!

Thank you Chyl for your warm welcome and great teaching. I was born in the USA to Filipinos, so I ate as a Filipino but never learned how to cook even the Filipino basics. I only had to make top grades in school (IYKYK)! Now my mixed heritage daughters, American husband, and I have the memory of learning to cook together and these delicious easy to recreate at home recipes. I’m so glad I chose this outdoor cooking class (lumpia gulay, pancit bihon, and 3 types of turon) instead of a typical city food tour. The cooking class worked well following a morning visit to the Ayala Museum which was only an 8 minute walk away in a very safe neighborhood via a beautifully painted underground boulevard crossing!

We had a wonderful afternoon with Chyl (pronounced Chill - what a cool name!). We cooked 3 dishes. Chyl is very informative and patient. Gave us a great insight into the local cuisine. Would definitely recommend it if you have any interest in food.

I had a great time learning how to cook a few classic Filipino dishes in this class. The instructor was very friendly and attentive. The best part was the food came out tasting great and I truly feel like I can now recreate these dishes at home

This cooking experience was amazing! I try to make it a tradition to book a cooking class in every country I travel to and this one has to be top 5 for sure. Our host Chyl was very kind and welcoming for this class and she made sure we knew exactly how to perform each step of the dish we were preparing. The food was amazing, the host was fantastic, 10/10 would recommend!

3歳と0歳の子供と一緒に参加しました。 子連れの場合参加できるアクティビティが限られていますが、子供がぐずったときはスタッフの方が抱っこしてくれたりして、料理に集中することが出来ました。
フィリピンの伝統的な料理作り方を教わりました。食材についても詳しく教えてもらったのでフィリピンでしか手に入らない食材は代わりの食材を用意できそうで帰国後もチャレンジできそうです。
楽しく料理を教わることが出来ました。
自分が行った時は虫が多かったので、虫よけスプレーがあるとよいと思います。
