At first, he was not very personable, even hurting my feelings for asking a question. He did begin to be a little nicer at the end of the day. Very knowledgeable, as he continued to tell us in history.

Wonderful itinerary and overall great experience. Our driver was so nice, the vehicle was roomy, the destinations were amazing, and the knowledge our guide had was the perfect amount of info for the duration we had at each castle. Not too much or too in depth, but plenty of facts and things to point out. I highly recommend this tour if you want to experience the Loire Valley in a day without a tour bus and 50 other people. This was perfect.

Exceptional day with nicely paid visits to the three chateaux. Good driver, and nicely paced flexible itinerary. Guide was knowledgeable and kept the whole day interesting while allowing us some time to sleep in the car as well! Highly recommended.

We booked 4 different private tours in France. This was one of the best tours. Our guide, Julian, spoke the best English, and did not have a heavy accent at all. The other tours we took were good, but I struggled a bit to understand the guides with their heavy accents. He was very informative on everything in the tour - and even while driving he would show us different things. On the way home, he even went out of his way to drive us to the front of Cheverny, where I told him I heard they still have hunting dogs. The chateaus were all beautiful and the stories about them all were very interesting. It is a long drive from Paris, and the tour was 12 hours total, which I thought was going to be exhausting. But, to my surprise, the time went by quickly and wasn't as exhausting as other shorter tours I took (maybe because 5 of those hours were sitting in the van getting to and from). I would highly recommend Julian as the tour guide and this tour from Parismatic tours

Excellent tour experience visiting the Loire Valley Castles on the VIP Private Tour. Ricardo did a fantastic job!!! He gave us personalized attention and was super flexible. The tour promised 3 chateaux i was able to see Chambord and Chenonceau but could not see Amboise this is a big let down. The tour guide was not very friendly. He rushed everything and did not show the whole palace. I feel it is a rip off for that money we paid for a family of 5.

We really enjoyed our day and it went very smoothly. Our guide was knowledgeable and gave us some time on our own to explore and have lunch. What you are really paying for is private transportation and entry tickets with some guide assistance.

Our guide was exceptional. He was a wealth of information, super nice. polite and everything you would want in a guide. It was a great treat to get picked up at our hotel, have a professional with us for the day, be driven around with an expert, tickets purchased for us, parking done, great lunch spot etc. He took scenic routes through the countryside and really maximized our time by showing us so much. He really cared about our experience which you just can’t put a price on.

We loved our day trip to the Loire Valley with our guide Julien. He is so knowledgeable, informative and personalized our day to fit our needs. He was prompt to pick us up at our apartment and found a wonderful place for a picnic along the Loire River overlooking Amboise Castle. We drove through countryside towns, toured the grounds of castles and learned more than we ever expected. Julien is a wonderful guide!

We had a wonderful tour guide and driver through the Loire Valley. He shared a lot of information , including the history of these chateaus. He was able to get a table for us at an excellent restaurant for lunch. He accommodated our requests and was very personable.

This was an awesome trip away from Paris to see the Loire Valley. We were picked up from our hotel in Paris in a very nice Mercedes van with super comfortable seating, air conditioning, and special requested cooler of cold drinks for our family to enjoy on the ride to/from the Loire Valley. We let our driver know we had a special dinner scheduled at 8pm and he made sure we were on time when we returned to Paris. 3 Castles are a lot to take in in one day both in and out of Paris but it was one of the highlights of our time in France to see the smaller towns outside of Paris and really enjoy all France has to offer. In particular, the Chambord Chateau had some of the most beautiful Easter arrangements with flowers, candies, and chocolates ever. The gardens were beautiful and this first stop of the morning was fantastic alternative to city life.

We had a wonderful day with our driver seeing three castles and having a relaxing lunch. It is so relaxing to have someone else doing the driving and to converse with throughout the day. We were able to compare and contrast what we saw during the day at the separate sites. The pace was perfect and matched our interests. The ability to have a conversation about what we were seeing and how it fit into history was very valuable. Our guide was a wonderful man who got to know us and was very attentive.

Our guide Michelle was phenomenal!! Her depth and breadth of knowledge were matched by her kindness and professionalism - making her the perfect guide! She knew just how much information to give us without overwhelming us and she did an awesome job of sharing information throughout the day while we were driving to and from the Châteaux so we could really enjoy our time at each stop. She made sure we saw all of the details and important features of each Château and we noticed other people perking up to listen to her commentary as we toured.
She also expertly navigated traffic, planned our route to make the most of our day, showed us many other châteaux along the way, and arranged for the most delicious lunch! We highly recommend this tour and especially Michelle!
We often rent cars and drive in Europe but felt this would be a better way to enjoy the Loire and it was - no stress, no traffic, no trying to navigate and figure things out. Also, the van was luxurious and brand new. We felt like we were well taken care of, traveling in comfort and safety with all covid precautions in place.

Beautiful area of France! Castles were all different and unique but we would have enjoyed more free time in some of the villages. Always seemed to be rushed through to get to the next stop.

This is an incredible private tour! Fred set up a great itinerary and Rami, our tour guide and driver did an amazing job of capturing the history, architecture and highlights of our three Châteaus - Amboise, Chenonceau and Chambord. My sister-in-law and I had one free day to do the Loire Valley and I evaluated the time along with train costs and rental cars and realized very quickly that this was the right way to go. Rami, who was just delightful, picked us up at our Paris hotel at 7am and gave us a little history en route so we were well prepared when we arrived in Amboise. This personal tour is great! One on one conversation and guidance all directed towards giving us the best tour! It was just the three of us touring these three amazing Châteaus! Definitely recommend this service!

C'était bien, mais on a compris que la guide trouvait ça plus difficile d'être 100% avec nous, puisqu'on était que deux, qu'alors avec des groupes semi-privés elle avait pus de temps libre.
