Woolton Liverpool Musical Walking Tour

We spent a very enjoyable few days in Liverpool visiting many of the attractions connected with The Beatles. The Woolton Walking Tour was the highlight of our trip. This walking tour is a treat for anyone interested in the back story of the early days of The Beatles, particularly of John and Paul’s teenage years.. Our guide, Tracey, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and we got a very good sense of what Woolton and the surrounding area was like in the late 1950’s, lots of anecdotes and stories that we had never heard before. We couldn’t recommend it more highly, outstanding!

It is a lovely village and still has a village life and we are very proud that the village is also the place where it all began for one of the greatest groups of all time who change what was a black and white world recovering after World War Two into technicolour.
