The tour is exactly as described. Trip was a round-trip of 4 miles. Pam was very nice and answered all our questions. She was considerate in finding a place with shade and seating when stopping at a new location.

We learned so much about Liverpool from our guide, Peter and really enjoyed the experience. Exploring the waterfront and the nearby commercial district was eye-opening. There was so much about the area we were completely unaware of and the Heritage Walking Tour was the perfect way to see it and explore Liverpool. The history and ongoing information was great with a dash of Beetles history thrown to keep it exciting.

Michael our guide was wonderful! He was friendly knowledgeable, helpful and very enthusiastic.
He had a number of suggestions for us after the tour was finished. He also spent more time with us than we expected. One of our best tours of our cruise.

It is a "Liverpool" Walking Tour, not a "Beetles" Walking Tour. With that in mind, we did get a considerable chunk of Beetles History along with the history of the city.
The information was good; the presenter was good, but not great.

The guide was unorganized and boring. We got very little history out of this. We went to a major shopping area for some reason. The last 35 minutes were going to be about the Beatles and if we wanted a Beatles tour we would have signed up for one

On our Heritage, History and Culture tour we aim to give an overview of all the best bits of Liverpool which we do include a little of the Beatles under culture as they have played such a significant part of the city and it's history and culture. Do not book if on a cruise and need to take a tender into the port. We were unable to go ashore due to weather and did not expect a full refund however a partial refund would have been nice. Since entry was included and no one went someone made a mice profit without having to do anything.

PLEASE NOTE THIS REVIEW IS NOT ABOUT OUR TOUR OR LIVERPOOL: . Hello, We just wanted to let you know that the review and comments, of what must have been a disappointing shore excursion you have experienced recently somewhere, are not relevant to Liverpool or our business.
We think that the review and comments have accidentally been posted to our tour; rather than another Port/location/tour that you have visited recently on your cruise holiday.
One of the reasons is that Liverpool port does not use any tenders.
One of the great things about the new Liverpool cruise ship port that opened in 2007, is that it does not use or have any tenders- instead passengers disembark by using walkways directly into the cruise welcome area on land.
We have also checked back on our guest lists this week for cruise guests, and think you may have been a party of 4 that were booked on our Best Of Liverpool History & Culture Walking Tour-Shore Excursion on 3rd of July and joined this tour, along with all the other guests on time.
The cruise ship (Carnival Legend) was on time, and not delayed at all by weather coming into Liverpool.
We do hope that if this was the tour you were on when in Liverpool that you enjoyed the tour with our guide Carl.
Our company policy is to refund any tours that are cancelled due to extreme weather (whether our guests arrive by land or sea arrivals) – and there has only been one occasion that as a business we have experienced that a cruise ship could not dock due to bad weather, this was last year when we immediately refunded in full.
We pride ourselves on providing great customer service and an enjoyable visit to Liverpool, and we are very disappointed that this rating of 1 star and the comments will have a negative impact on our business ranking with Viator/ TripAdvisor as they do not relate to us.
We would therefore, be very grateful if you could remove this review and comments against our tour and company.
