I met with the tour guide Jean who arrived early and as I was early it was great. We headed off and Jean gave me a great history of Liverpool. Jean is very knowledgeable about Liverpool and its history. We had a great time and plenty of opportunities for photos. After a great walking tour we went to the iconic White Star hotel for a lovely high tea to top off the tour. You can look in the room where the first class passengers for the titanic or other white star line ships would congregate to purchase there tickets. We then proceeded to the rooftop which affords a wonderful view over Liverpool towards the Mersey. We then enjoyed a lovely high tea before saying our goodbyes and I walked back to the cruise ship which was moored close by.
