The tour was well worth it. Kevin our tour guide was very fun and knowledgeable. There are many photo opportunities. I would highly recommend paying a little extra for the hot meal. I would recommend dressing in layers and wear comfortable footwear. If for some reason the tour gets cancelled, I would rebook another trip through Viator to make sure you get your refund.

Amazing sites, Guide disappointing.

Ray_P, Mar 2026
The sites were wonderful and we enjoyed every stop. However, the guide was very disappointing. He was a nice person but his presentation lacked content and professionalism. So much of his presentation was idle chatter that had nothing to do with the excursion. He had two trainees along which was fine but he often engaged in senseless chatter that had nothing to do with the trip. He shared very little information and facts during the trip. We felt like he was “winging “ it. He had a nice personality but was lacking in an agenda of information to share. His sense of timing needs to be improved, he decided that on the hour return trip was the time to engage the group in Las Vegas trivia . People were tired and this attempt at fun fell way short. Probably the most unprofessional act was his pitch on tipping. He sounded like a high pressure car salesman trying to convince you to give generously. Tipping information was printed in the brochure and there was no reason to have a 10 minute dissertation on it. It was offensive. All he had to say was “We appreciate any tip you would like to give and also appreciate tips for our driver “. In hindsight we felt the lack of knowledge and professionalism was missing. Lastly, the sites were awesome but the guide needs new training.

Highlight of my trip!

Red Rock Canyon was the highlight of my trip to Las Vegas! I’m a little afraid of heights so I enjoyed it even more than the Grand Canyon! Absolutely stunning!

Great trip!

This tour was awesome ! And Kevin was GREAT!!!!!! He was so funny and knowledgable. Would recommend to anyone who wants to see the red rock and Hoover dam. We had plenty of stops to get pictures and enough time at each stop to see everything you needed too. & lunch was great !

Tour Was Cancelled

Cary_K, Mar 2026
Don't know. Our tours were cancelled due to low booking. Sounded like a nice tour but didn't get to go.

Canceled the DAY BEFORE

Lily_M, Mar 2026
Though I had scheduled and paid for this tour weeks in advance and flown to Las Vegas, it was canceled THE DAY BEFORE due to not enough people having signed up. There was no indication this was a possibility and they offered I could do it the following day, but obviously I already had planned out the rest of my vacation so was unavailable. Thankfully I was able to book a similar pink jeep tour for the next day instead but I am extremely disappointed and would not recommend booking this tour.

great tour brilliant guide

Adrian_S, Feb 2026
the early start was well worth it we were out of Vegas before all the traffic and it was still quiet when we got to red rock canyon. Jim was very knowledgeable and approachable and had a real passion for geology and both natural and local history. Thanks Jim will look out for your trips when we come back.

A Rocking and Dam good time at the Hoover Dam

Had great time touring Hoover dam and hiking through the red rock canyon. Our tour guide Kevin was exceptionally knowledgeable and guided us well throughout. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Disappointed

Sanoma_R, Dec 2025
They called and told me that the trip was cancelled but we could going on Thursday or Friday or pay extra for an different excursion if we paid more money for a much longer excursion with less to do...we decline and asked for a refund. We felt like we were getting the short end of the stick...No tour unless we paid more to do something we didn't even really want to do. We will see if we get the refund promised.😞.. They could of at least gave us the other excursion for the same price for the inconvenience.

Total waste of time and precious vacation plans

Craig_H, Dec 2025
DO NOT BOOK this trip. We booked well ahead while in vegas for our wedding for our last days trip. Recieved an email day before to call a number. Called the number to be casually told it had been cancelled with no reason. No alternative trip or options provided.

Absolutely loved the tour! Driver and tour guide was phenomenal! The only thing is that we got back a little later than the app had said we would (said 6 hours so I assume 6-12 but we got back to the hotel at 2) so just plan accordingly! But would absolutely do this tour again!

Good time!

Shannon_M, Nov 2025
Robert was helpful and friendly. Had a lot of knowledge about our stops. Only issue we had with the tour was being last hotel pickup left only rear seats as a choice. My boyfriend is 6’3” so was a little cramped. Otherwise a great experience!

The trip was great. The only negative thing was the seating. We had to sit in the back row so we could sit together, and there was no leg room. My husband ‘s knees pushed against the seat ahead of him the whole time. There were only three of us sitting in the back row, but supposedly it was meant for four. It would have been VERY crowded if there had been a 4th person. It would have made for a very uncomfortable trip.

Red Rocks Canyon/ Hoover Dam tour

Dawn_S, Nov 2025
It was a great experience! We went to Red Rocks Canyon, saw the Petroglyph wall when we went on a hike, saw the Hoover Dam and took a tour inside. Went all the way to the bottom in the tunnels to see what makes it all work and then saw the power plant. The only recommendation I have is that you allow more time for those people who purchased the tour inside. It was extra money and we did not have enough time; felt like we were short changed on that part. There were multiple groups going down to the bottom and you had to wait for the elevators, which ate up a lot of time. As a result, we had no time to go into the museum or gift shop and no time to walk outside and take pics at the level of the bridge crossing the dam. It left us running for the bus to get back in time! Otherwise, the tour was great. The tour guide was great. I would recommend taking the tour.

Red Rock Canyon and Hoover Dam

Connie_H, Nov 2025
This was my 4th trip to the area but 1st time under the Hoover Dam. Red Rock Canyon is beautiful and there is always something new to see. Kevin, our guide, was knowledgeable and friendly. More time should be considered at the Dam.

Canceled

Leigh_M, Nov 2025
Was canceled the night before for maintenance too late to make alternative tour. Only offered a grand canyon(which I’ve already done) or a later date after we’ve left Vegas. So no idea how actual tour was. Very disappointed as this was my #1 thing to do on this trip

Excellent

Martin_B, Nov 2025
From start to finish it was well planned. Robert was an excellent guide. He kept us fully informed and entertained. Excellent trip

Stunning views!

Pamela_D, Nov 2025
This tour took us to Red Rock Canyon at sunrise and it was just stunning! Robert was an excellent tour guide. Gave us great information and enough time for exploring and photos. You don't need to be a hiker for this trip. Hoover Dam and Lake Mead was also great. Van was super nice and clean. They provided us with plenty of water. Brunch was average. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. It's a boxed meal you order the day before and eat it at a small venue near the dam late morning. Food is available at the dam gift shop area or bring something with you. Overall, i definitely recommend this tour.

Hoover Dam and Red Rock Canyon tour was amazing experience! The Hoover Dam was absolutely fascinating — it’s incredible to see such an engineering masterpiece up close and learn about its history. Red Rock Canyon was just breathtaking, with stunning desert scenery and plenty of great photo spots. The tour was well-organized from start to finish, and our driver/tour guide Robert was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the trip even more enjoyable. There was a good balance of sightseeing, learning, and free time to explore. Highly recommend this tour if you’re visiting Las Vegas and want to experience something beyond the Strip!

Mismanaged Trip

Hari_G, Oct 2025
Travelling company not very organised. Trip was booked for 6 am. They updated to 5.30 am night before and asked to arrive 15 minutes earlier. Made special efforts to get ready for 5 am. After several reminders, company informed about 6.50 am, Trip pick up moved to 9 am.. it was very inconvenient.

Last minute Cancelation

Kyle_P, Oct 2025
The canceled on us less than 24 hours before our tour time... they had just taken our money the day before, but now 5 days later we still have not received our refund. We had paid for the tour and lunch. It really put a damper on our trip as we had to find something different to do that day, we were out almost $400, our options were limited at the last minute.

Kevin the Man

Raymond_D, Oct 2025
From beginning to end was exciting...tour guide Kevin was knowledgeable kept the passengers at ease and bus driver Manuel was a safe driver....it was a beautiful day Red Rock Canyon was red with the sunrise hitting the mountains and the Dam unbelievable what man can do...I recommended this tour
