Our guide was amazing, she made sure we saw everything we wanted to see in the time frame we had.

Filippo drove us around in a Mercedes passenger van to all the main sites of Rome. He is very knowledgeable about the city and it's history. He was flexible and booked a guided tour of the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican grounds for us at our request on the day.
He drove us to a hill-top terrace to get a view of the city then to the Piazza Venezia, stopped at the Colosseum, Circus Maximus and Trevi Fountain for photos. He recommended a great place for paninis. We went to St. Peter's square afterwards for our Sistine Chapel tour and then finally a stop at the Pantheon. We only missed the Spanish Steps and shopping but we didn't have time.
Filippo is fast, efficient and helpful and his english is very good. ... and you'll feel very safe with huge presence :

Filippo - our all-in-one chauffeur and tour guide - was extremely accommodating and very informative. With our limited time of 5 hrs in Rome net of the 3-hr travel time from the cruise port-to Rome-and back, Filippo was able to show us the main highlights of this historical city. Unlike other tours where your itinerary is pre-determined and your time at each place is set, we set the itinerary and the time we needed at each place - and Filippo made sure we made it back to the ship as per the schedule we set. Thus, we were able to spend more time on places that are more significant to us and less time where we just needed to look around quickly and take pictures. Our tour price for 6 people was also considerably lower compared to those being offered by the cruise. Above all, Filippo's warm hospitality and utmost consideration for our needs made the tour extremely enjoyable and worth every Euro we paid. We definitely recommend this tour for those who have a limited time in Rome but would like to see the important sights at their own pace.
