Overview
Shake a leg and catch a beat during this 3-hour traditional Rwandan dancing and drumming lesson. Get a sense for the basic steps of Rwandan dancing, and learn about the style’s history. After a little practice you’ll test out your moves in a performance led by your instructors. You’ll continue the day with a course in traditional drumming and a chance to improvise a few beats of your own. Finish your excursion with some souvenir shopping for traditional handicrafts. Your dancing and drumming course includes a guide and bottled water.

Coming from Kigali as you enter Muhanga/Gitarama you will the prison on your left. After 30 metres there is a road forking off to your right; ignore this. Keep going on the main road about 100 metres further on the left hand-side of the road you will see the Azizi Life sign.

Friendly people who REALLY engage you in their dance and song. One brave soul should be prepared to offer a cultural something (song, dance, poem etc. ). So much fun and felt very culturally relevant.
