Overview

Bali’s Bukit Peninsula has been known as a surfer’s paradise since the 1970s. Start off right with a private surf lesson, suitable for beginners and intermediates alike—surfboard and rash top included. You’ll learn how to stand up, paddle, read and select waves, surf etiquette, ocean awareness, and how to maneuver the board. The school is in Padang Padang, but transfers are offered in the area from Uluwatu Temple to Bingin.

No one showed. Wasn’t contacted nor was the phone # displayed w/ a whatsapp number no longer valid. I basically tossed my $$ away. Says “meet at beach” so I sat there for an hour watching everyone else surf waiting for no one.

We had a brilliant experience, our instructor Yudi was awesome. He covered all the basics and gave us clear instructions about the beach, the board and what the plan was once we were out in the water. You are provided with a board and rash vest. My partner had never stood on a board before so was rather nervous, yet had a brilliant time getting up on some decent size waves out the back, not just in whitewater. Recommend this if you’re a beginner or even intermediate and going out for the first time in a while.
