Ok.. can I just gush a little bit about how fun and interesting this experience was? From the minute I arrived as a solo guest, I felt invited and included to fully participate in this activity. This is a well designed class for individuals and groups and I learned so much about the process of silversmithing!
First, I chose a design from the many sample pieces and soon began the journey of making my own ring. The samples are really helpful because, if you're new to making jewelry, a model gives direction to your experience when you might otherwise have no clue where to start.
My instructor was helpful and intuitive, balancing my hands-on participation and his own expertise and artistry so that my piece would be the best it could be. I was so happy with my end result that I booked another experience to make something for a friend!
Just did this with my girlfriend today, was really fun and enjoyable. Our teacher was very helpful and spoke well. Great activity for anyone and everyone.
