Itinerary
This full-day tour begins with a Jerusalem hotel pickup in an air-conditioned coach.
Begin on a high note at the Mount of Olives for a scenic overview of the entire city of Jerusalem. East of the Old City of Jerusalem, this mountain ridge is named for the olive groves that once covered its slopes. According to the gospels, a number of important events in the life of Jesus occurred here, including where he ascended into heaven. The Mount has been a site of Christian worship since ancient times and continues to be a place of pilgrimage for Eastern Orthodox, Catholic, and Protestant believers.
Next, visit the Last Supper Room, where Jesus shared the Last Supper with his disciples, and see David’s tomb, the burial place of David, the King of Israel.
Continue into the Jewish Quarter, visit the Western Wall, or Wailing Wall, the holiest of Jewish sites.
Further along in the Christian Quarter, walk the Via Dolorosa, the street that Jesus walked on the way to his crucifixion. Here, look for the 14 stations of the cross while retracing Jesus’ steps to the Hill of Calvary, at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Also, see the Stone of the Anointing, where Jesus was believed to have been placed before his burial.
Finally, spend some time in the Old City’s marketplace shopping for mementos and gifts from this remarkable adventure. Then, board the coach for a return trip to the Jerusalem hotels.

1. The sites as described in tour visited were astounding for sure. Glad that our competent driver cum guide, Ari was at hand to give clear input n perspectives. The close up on the attractions which I had seen from the rooftop of my lodging in the Christian Quarter gave depths to the almost 360 degrees panoramic views i get to enjoy.
2. Appreciate guide for reconfiguring tour to include a visit to the Church of Nativity in Bethlehem, thus nicely bookending our day with the two monumental experiences of the places of birth and demise of Jesus.
3. Grateful to guide too for taking a longer drive for drop off to enable our viewing of the major government buildings outside the Old City.

Great Tour, Our Guid Norbert was very knowleadgeble. I would highly reccomend this tour as the old city of Jerusalem is full of so much history it is good to have a guide with you who can point out what it is exactly that yu are looking at. There is just so much culture and histroy so it is great to get all the context behind alot of the sites that you go to visit. Then after you have visited these sites with a guide you can always go back and revisit your faviorite sites if you have time in your trip as we did. But I cannot understate the value of a good guide espicially if only have limited time in Jerusalem.

We had Yoav as our guide and he was absolutely fabulous, he knew the history so well and made sure along the way we were all keeping up and understanding. He made our experience so special! The tour is a big day with lots of walking - so make sure you have comfy shoes, but you truely get to emerge yourself in the history and beauty of the old city! Would definitely recommend. If you have Tomer as your tour guide, you will not be disappointed! He was absolutely amazing and truly takes you all over Old Jerusalem. He has a wealth of knowledge and information and when he shares the stories and information with the group it is all entirely unbiased. There was one comment that he repeatedly said that resonated with us which is that it doesn't matter if this exact object or location is holy, but instead it's the connection that you yourself with your own faith make during this journey that matters the most.

It was a Lifetime experience. I guess one full day tour was not enough to know the history of Jerusalem. Our guide Yoel was knowledgeable, informative & took care of us from the beginning to the end of the tour. I will definitely recommend this tour & would want to visit Jerusalem again someday.

He was attentive, prorective, funny, knowledgeable, and kept us all together in very crowded places! I took this tour alone. Being an elderly woman alone I was a little worried about it. I had NOTHING to worry about! Do this tour! It's well worth it!

This is my first visit to Israel and sadly due to the death of my swwt husband, I am traveling alone. I decided to book my tours through Viator and am totally delighted Our guide made sure we saw all of the important sights, taking time to explain and answer questions. I was not impressed with this tour. The guide was not very friendly and provided only shallow explanations. The Muslim part of Jerusalem was completely blanked out although the tour was supposed to cover three religions.

Very good experience with our guide and he was flexible to allow a few extra minutes at several sites. There is so much packed in one day but overall, it was great! I wish they could provide more explanation on how the via dolorosa was determined as there are other accounts of a different path and different Crucifixion sit. It helps to put things in perspective!

My family booked several tours through VIATOR for our trip to Israel -- and unequivocally -- this was our favorite. On its own, Jerusalem is an awe-inspiring and magical place, yet our experience would not have been the same without our ace tour guide Ron a.k.a. Lev. Often, tours such as this can be a bit, well, touristy and cookie cutter. Yet Ron really enhanced the experience, providing more than a scripted spiel, but extremely engaging anecdotes, off the cuff humor, and candid Q and A. In terms of value time, money, quality, this tour is well worth it, and we hope to take it again.

The tour is only a few hours, but you get a good preview of the holy sites, particularly the Chrisian ones as you walk backward down the allies where Jesus walked with the cross starting with the crucifixion spot.

The tour was ok, but it didn't include Temple Mount which is one of the highlights of the Old City. Temple Mount was actually mentioned in the description of the tour, but we weren't taken there. The tour guide was also ok about providing information, but there were some inappropriate comments from his part.

Tour guide was brilliant!! Very enjoyable day! Improvements can be made on timings of hotel pick ups as we were unsure what time we would be picked up so had to get up early and sit in the lobby
