Overview
Spend the night under the stars with this overnight camel safari. You'll depart Jaisalmer in the early afternoon, stopping at Khaba Fort before heading out for a sunset camel ride. You'll then have dinner cooked over an open fire before retiring to a night of sleeping out in the desert under the stars. You’ll have breakfast and another camel ride the next morning before returning to Jaisalmer.

Our overnight desert safari was an amazing experience from start to finish. It began with an exciting jeep ride through the dunes, followed by a surprisingly long and atmospheric camel ride deep into the desert to a truly remote camp.
The setting was beautifully simple and authentic — a small group, dinner prepared over the fire, and a peaceful desert atmosphere far away from crowds. Sleeping in real beds under the open sky, surrounded by silence and stars, was something truly special.
Our caravan guide, Puna, was excellent — friendly, attentive, and clearly experienced. As an extra highlight, the camels spent the night close to our camp, which made the whole experience feel even more unique and memorable.
An unforgettable desert adventure. Highly recommended.

Our overnight desert Camel Safari became a highlight in our month-long India adventure travel experience. The staff were gracious and accommodating, they clearly loved their work. The two meals prepared over an open fire were excellent. The camel ride out to a secluded crest on the Indian dessert was amazing and the sunset and photo opps were off the charts, and the sleep under the stars was a delight!!!

This was an unforgettable experience. We could not have asked for a better guide than Ukka. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in great hands. Amazing food, incredible views of the stars, a memory we will cherish forever.

Thank you Oka! It was an amazing night amongst the stars. Organisation, food, and the beds were perfect. I wasn’t feeling cold in the bed although it got quite chilly outside. As a foreigner I was afraid of lacking cleanliness, but everything was hygienic! Fresh linen and fresh and delicious food!
If you have the chance book on a day where there is not so much moon as the stars are more visible then.

Can warmly recommend this camel safari where Ukka was excellent as a guide and driver. Even the camels and the camel driver did their job. The car may not have been of the newest condition, but the tour was as described and we were alone under the stars in the desert this night. Also worked great at Pleasant haveli, with transfer from the train station when we arrived and access to shower facilities and luggage storage both before and after the desert tour. Also, it was a very nice restaurant upstairs with good food. Pleasant haveli was also near attractions.

Excellente expérience avec Uka et ses amis. Ils étaient aux petits soins avec nous et ont cuisiné comme des chefs dans le désert. Nous avons passé une très belle nuit sous les étoiles c’était magnifique, comme dans un rêve !! Petit réveil avec un massala tea concocté par Uka! En voyage en Inde depuis 10 jours, mon compagnon et moi avions vraiment hâte de faire ce tour...et le safari a été à la hauteur de nos (élevées) attentes! Nous sommes partis avec un autre couple et le guide Ukaa s'est occupé de tout: le transfert en jeep, avec des arrêts lelong du chemin pour faire quelques visites, la balade en dromadaire, la préparation du dîner et fu petit déjeuner ! Nous avons dormi à la belle étoile et c'était juste magnifique..avec une pleine lune qui éclairait le ciel et le silence de la nature. Merci à Ukaa pour sa gentillesse et son professionalisme! Je recommande vivement ce tour!
