I cannot recommend Matt highly enough. It was an outstanding experience. I learned a great deal from him the land, history rewinding. He made the experience very special. We had a difficult experience a few days earlier due to weather. Matt worked with us , planning another route, which turned into a challenging but amazing day. I would do it again tomorrow. Perhaps next year

We had a wonderful outdoor experience hiking up Ben Macdui with Lost Sheep Guiding. The difficulty level was moderate, the views were amazing, and our guide Matt was the best; he prepared us well for what to expect, set a pace customized for our hiking skills, and was friendly, interesting, and extremely knowledgeable. We highly recommend the Ben Macdui hike and give Lost Sheep and Matt our highest rating.

Matt took us up Ben macdui and then took us off the trail to go by lock Avon stunning views. Channeling hike, was a ton of fun highly recommend

Matt was a great guide. Very personable and highly competent. This was my first time using Viator and I wasn't sure what to expect. But the hike was great; scenery up Ben Macdui was fabulous; and Matt made it a great trip.

This hike was absolutely the best! Matt is the perfect guide - knows the mountains and is enthusiastic in sharing his passion for the Scottish hillsides, nature, history and the abundance of beauty. I included a photo of one of his favorite places that he was kind enough to share with us. My fellow hikers and I can’t recommend this hike enough!!!

I have really enjoyed the walking tour to Ben Macdui with Matt. He provided great weather and gear information prior to the hike and answered all of my questions. The chosen route provided many stunning views and had a great mix of terrain. Matt is a very knowledgeable, attentive and friendly guide, and taught me some navigation skills along the way. Initially I was a bit nervous about doing the ascend in the challenging Scottish weather (we’ve encountered everything from sunshine, to rain, snow and hail), but it turned out to be a wonderful adventure for this novice hiker. I highly recommend the Lost Sheep tours!
