What To Expect
Make your own way to the traditional 'Kaiserjäger' park, located only 10 minutes from downtown Innsbruck.
The daily Skijumper show is featured from May until November at 10am-12pm and 1-3 pm (if weather and wind conditions allow).
To reach the viewpoint on the tower, people with a good level of fitness can walk up 455 steps from the eastern entrance of the stadium to the ski jump tower. Alternatively, the new inclined escalator provides a fast ride up to the top for as many as 350 people per hour, crossing the 820-foot (250-meter) stretch in two minutes.
When you arrive at the tower, take the elevator up to the Bergisel Sky restaurant, where the terrace stands 143 feet (43.5 meters) above the ground. From the terrace, see the Tyrol mountains, the Inntal Valley, and Innsbruck through a floor-to-ceiling glass façade.

Good demo by ski jumpers in the summer. Great views of Innsbruck mountains and city and much less expensive than the cable car.

Fantastic place! Not much going on as off season however really interesting to walk around, great view of Innsbruck (considerably cheaper than Nordkette) and really makes you appreciate the skill involved!

Great to visit and get a view of what the ski jumpers can see as they start their descent.

Really cool and fun for the family. Great view from the top and exciting history. Food at the SkyView restaurant was delicious!

The funicular to the top is fun. Wish we could’ve known when to go to see ski school using the jump. Fascinating to see it. The parking is tricky. Not clearly marked or had instructions where to park
Lynn_Z, Nov 2025
The ski lift was not available till November 20 which was disappointing even though we could use the funicular

What a great place for a visit. Lovely café with panoramic views at the top, cool, little funicular to take you up there, and a chance to experience what it must’ve been like sitting at the top of that jump, very scary!
