This was a top highlight of our trip to Peru! From the sand boarding to the exhilarating buggy ride through the desert- to say nothing of the incredible sunset- this experience was amazing. Would highly recommend!

We started by walking to a hotel in Huacachina for pickup, but the guide was late and difficult to find, and did not speak any English. We walked up to the dune buggies, took some pictures, had a fun ride, then did some sand boarding, which was fun but limited (we went down a small hill twice, down a large hill once, then a very small hill at the end). We ended off by watching the sun set on a dune. Overall, there was probably 25-30 minutes of sand boarding.
Bit of a bummer that the guide and driver didn’t speak any English despite the listing claiming to be a bilingual tour, but it wasn’t that big of a deal. The tour agency also didn’t reach out for more details after I booked, I had to contact them to find out meeting time, but they did reply fairly quickly.

We had a slow and late start (our guide left us and asked us to wait for about 10 minutes after entering the reserve). That being said, the activity was great fun and we felt safe and supported thanks to our great driver!

We loved it absolutely a blast and a highlight!! Ronald was absolutly amazing - we went with 10 year olds - this was excellent for them. Very much recommend.
