Overview

The southwestern region of Peru has an ideal climate for growing grapes. On Mondays, Hacienda Tacama is closed, and instead we will visit Bodega Vista Alegre, which is of the same category as Hacienda Tacama.

Great way to get a feel for the Pisco Scene!

My husband and I had a blast on our Pisco tour! The tour company was super communicative and gave great instructions on where to meet up since we were coming into town via bus as opposed to at one of the local hotels. We met up with our tour guide William and he was a total rock star and took us around to three Pisco Distilleries in the Ica area. Some were nicer than others but all were quite fun to go and see. It felt like touring around with a local friend as opposed to a "tour guide". Thanks for a great time William!

The tour company did great by communicating ahead of time to arrange pick-up at our hotel. The guide was prompt and knowledgeable of the region and was able to add many great historical details to the ride over. He understood we had a tour scheduled after this one and he communicated with the next company to assure a smooth transition. Thanks Raul for being so nice!
