We had such a fantastic time with Lu as our driver, he was such a great guide - incredibly fun and informative. The jeep itself was a surprisingly smooth ride and the tour took us through villages and scenery which we wouldn’t have otherwise seen. The lunch which was provided was also incredible, so tasty and fresh. If you are thinking about booking this, do it!!!! It is so worth it.

My two friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our Jeep excursion with Cong Jeep Adventures. Booking and logistics were dead easy and handled via WhatsApp, and we were picked up at our hotel in Hue and were on the road 5 minutes after the listed start time. On this day trip you'll pass through rural areas and rice paddies, visit a small local waterfall (bring your swimsuit), hit the beach for a seafood lunch, and make your way up to the top of the gorgeous Hải Vân Pass. The tour then changes to a boring normal car and takes you back south to the Marble Mountains and wraps up in Hoi An, although we opted to get dropped off in Da Nang where our housing is. Overly independent travelers are thinking you could probably do all these trips solo, but this kickazz historic Jeep from 1969 (nice) is quite simply more memorable and the superior way to travel. Our driver, Lu, was on it and made sure we lacked for nothing and were aware of what was coming next. For a great Hue experience, take the train north from Da Nang and Cong Jeep Adventures back south, you'll be glad you did.

The best travel day from Hue to Danang

We had a great time on this tour with our guide Cong! We booked the tour from Hue to Danang, experiencing every single type of weather throughout its duration, and we still had the best time - a testament to how good the tour is. Cong was very kind and made sure both us and our luggage was looked after, including sending our big backpacks in a separate car straight to our hotel. He played great music and his infectious personality was one of the highlights of our day. If possible I’d recommend booking the tour direct with Cong rather than through Viator of Get Your Guide.

Great way to get from Hue to Hoi An. Cong, from congjeep.com was a great tour guide and we were able to stop at a number of interesting places along the way (local markets, waterfall swimming hole, beach for a delicious lunch, hai van pass and marble mountain). Highly recommend.

A wonderful way to complete the Hai van Pass! This company are great as they took our luggage in another jeep so we could be comfortable. Cong was great at bringing the vibe with the music and the chats along the way. The jeep is an original left after the war and Cong keeps it great. We had lots of stops for swimming in the waterfall, marble mountain and coffee at the top of the pass. We also had market stops and a lovely lunch at the gorgeous beach. So delighted we did this fantastic trip ⭐️

Cong was a great host, guide and driver and the jeeps were amazing, we travelled on one that was 70 years old. This was definitely the best way to get from Hue to Hoi An! You must swim at the waterfall, the water is brilliant and the tour stopped at some great places including Marble mountains. The lunch at the beach was great. It was so much fun riding in the jeeps. We stopped multiple times to take photos. The seafood lunch was amazing. Only minus was we had two jeeps as there were four of us and only one driver could speak English, so we didn’t get any of the tour explained like our friends.

We absolutely loved this tour and Cong was the most amazing guide. He really went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time. Cong took us to places we would never have discovered without him, and he was very helpful and informative. Excellent way to get from Hue to Hoi An/Da Nang. Well thought out route, immaculate vibes and a very fun experience. We had an amazing day traveling from Hue to Hoi An in an original 1945 Jeep. Lu, our guide from Hue, drove us and shared his knowledge and experience with us. We saw local markets, swam in the waterfall pools, and explored deserted beaches with stunning views of the coast and beautiful countryside as we made our way up to the Hai Van Pass. At the top of the pass, we were transferred into a spacious car and stopped in the Marble Mountains on our way to Hoi An. The gorgeous lunch on the beach and the waterfalls were the highlights of the day.

Lu and Duong were awesome guys to drive with, so much fun! We went to some great villages, the waterfall was a refreshing pit stop. Lunch at the beach was huge but so yummy 😋. Finishing at the top of Hai Van Pass would have been specky, if it wasn't for the haze that day. Mr Vu who took us into Hoi An via Marble Mountain was a wealth of information, thanks for the tip of Morning Glory restaurant in Hoi An 😁😋. Cong, you and your team have one of the best tours in Vietnam, was one of our best days here 🤘

An unbelievable good way to travel between Hue and Hoi An, and at the same time experience the Vietnamese culture and some nice stops along the way. Our guide Cho (not sure about the spelling) was also very kind and really made an effort to make our trip as enyojable as possible.

The trip was amazing ! Me and my partner had such a lovely time and the guide Huy was the best. He looked after us, stopped to help us get photos, got us to all the spots safe and before the crowds arrived. He answered all of our questions and provided amazing insight though our the tour. During the tour you take amazing scenic routes that can’t be reached on other tours I’ve seen. Also the food was easily some of the best I’ve had whilst in Vietnam. If you have interest in this tour just book it ! I guarantee you will not be disappointed. I recommend this to every person, of every age who visits.

Best Jeep Hai Van Pass tour!

We had an amazing tour over Hai Van Pass from Hue to Hoi An with our guide and driver Cong. The Jeep was amazing, a real one from the war that had been maintained amazingly with mostly original parts. It felt safe but also authentic and surprisingly comfortable! It was supposed to rain when we did the tour, so the roof was already up and our luggage got covered in plastic wraps to make sure they didn't get wet. It didn't really rain in the end, but was nice to know we didn't have to worry about that. Cong, our driver and guide, was incredible. Really fun and knowledgeable, taught us some cool things about Hai Van pass, the locations we stopped at, living in Vietnam and showed us some food we probably wouldn't have tried otherwise... Like BBQ oysters. It's an experience for sure, definitely try them! He helped take photos of us as well and we got some really nice ones from the whole experience. 100% recommend this tour. You won't be let down at all.
