We had such a great time on this tour and learned a lot. Also, we were lucky with timing that some of the buildings had just finished being restored. Our guide, Hoang, was both knowledgeable and entertaining. He even gave us suggestions on where to find good local cuisine. We highly recommend this tour!

We had a delightful tour of the Citadel. Our guide, Ms. Ha, was both friendly extremely knowledgeable and shared the history of the citadel, Hue, and Vietnam in a way that was both informative and captivating. Her English was excellent. She built in plenty of pauses to rest under shade/fans and took great photos too! The citadel was a fascinating glimpse into Vietnam’s history and very beautiful. Highly recommended.

Wonderful tour of the Imperial Citadel and city of Hue with Ms. Ha. She spoke very clearly in English, which was good for us because we are older and don't always hear as well as we should. She is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the history of Hue, and very patient with me wanting to take lots of pictures. Our tour was something over 3 hours, plenty of time to visit most of the sights, but not too tiring for the feet. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Excellent tour with the very knowledgeable Van! It is a good length but be prepared for a fair bit of walking! As a tip, of you are planning on seeing the other tombs on the same day, buy a joint ticket at the ticket office as this will save you some money (and a bit of time).
