We had a great day with our tour guide Ngoc, who was friendly and informative. We started with a dragon boat ride along the Perfume River to a pagoda. Next was a tour of the Citadel, followed by a visit to a family-run incense stall where we learned how incense is made and how conical hats are woven. We opted out of a visit to the market bc we’d been to several in other cities. We had a nice lunch at a restaurant that served a set menu with local dishes (included in the price of the tour, except for drinks which were out of pocket). The day ended with stops at two tombs, kings 12 and 2, which highlighted the differences in tomb design. It was a rainy day and we were very glad to be on this tour rather than having to navigate transport among the sites on our own.
We really enjoyed our Hue city tour. Despite the bad weather (rainy), our tour guide made the tour very pleasant. She was very informative and knowledgeable.
Was a wonderful tour seeing all the important sights of Hue. Had a fun dragon boat ride along perfume river. Saw many pagodas, tombs of past kings and imperial palace. Very small group just the two of us and our guide was extremely knowledgeable with the history of sites we visited. Would 💯

Fi was an excellent guide who made our tour of Hue so enjoyable. Her knowledge and insights of historic Hue really made the difference in understanding the historic events of the Imperial city. A superb lunch in a delightful restaurant was an added bonus

We visited the imperial citadel, the tombs of the kings, the market.. but above all, thanks to our fantastic guide, we were able to get in touch with the history of Vietnam, with its philosophy, its essence, so as to better understand and appreciate even more this beautiful country.
Our tour guide Fi was amazing! The tour was filled with beautiful sights and Fi’s commentary helped us have a greater appreciation on the history, people and culture of Hue and Vietnam. Our highlight was the citadel, incense village and delicious lunch. We would definitely recommend this amazing tour.
We had a great time exploring Hue and learning a lot about the local history. Xi was a fantastic guide full of local knowledge and spoke excellent English. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend this tour.
What a day full of history! Our guide Hoang was very knowledgable and explained history in a very engaging way. Both Imperial City and Forbidden City are utterly fascinating and definitely worth seeing. The Tombs were beautiful, it's easy to forget that they are a resting place. The late emperors built them to be tranquil places to relax and to enjoy time spent there.
Fi was our magnificent guide for the day. We started the tour with a dragon boat ride down the Perfume River and stopped at the pagoda. We explored two temples. We stopped at the incense shop and discovered how this area is a major source of quality incense in Vietnam. Our lunch was excellent. Our tour of the citadel was amazing although the day was hot and humid. Fi's english was excellent and we enjoyed her company and extra explanations.
“C” was excellent. She took us to some wonderful sights and filled us in on the early history of Vietnam. She also provided other information on where to eat and other things to see.
Good guide. Tour includes visits to the tombs that are 20-30km outside the city. Well worthwhile.
Getting an early start is a good plan. We started at 0800. At that time the Citadel and the royal city area are not busy.
Excellent Hue tour! I strongly recommend it! We had a pleasant cruise in the perfume river in our way to a ancient pagoda! After that we went to the cidadel we’re the royal family used to live and learned about their family. After a nice lunch we went to see two fantastic cemitery . The last one is even impressive than the first!
Fabulous tour. Well worth the money. our tour guide Xi spoke great English and was really knowledge about the imperial city and history of Vietnam! Dragon boat ride, lunch, market, driver all great! Xi also gave great recommendations for restaurants and not to miss experiences in Hue!!
This was a wonderful tour. Our guide and driver both had a great sense of humor. The visit to the tombs was my favorite part, but it was all educational and entertaining. The lunch was huge and delicious, Vietnamese pancakes from Hue, fried tofu, chicken and fish. I didn't need dinner after that. The best thing I have done in Vietnam to date.
We had a very enjoyable tour of Hue. Our tour guide Fie was wonderful. Knowledgeable and patient with a relatively large group. She kept us on time and packed in a lot for a thorough tour of top spots in Hue. Recommend this tour for those with limited time in Hue.
the guide did a great job of showing what there was in Hue. If you are only here for a day or two this is really the tour to do. Lot of variety and guide was very helpful with showing the place off
It is an interesting tour for geeks and history buffs like me. Our tour guide, Miss Fi, spent a lo of time explaining the history, the kings and their contributions to the kingdom during their reigns. The Citadel nd the tombs are very beautiful and well maintained. A great thumbs up!

The tour was designed amazingly with many visits but not rushing. Our tour guide, Hoa, is fantastic, he is very knowledgeable with good sense of humor and very caring. Would love to recommend this tour and Hoa specifically
It was a very full day tour which took us to many different sites. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable but tended to talk too much. We could have done without the indoor market stop. Lunch was very good. Visiting the tombs in the afternoon was all right but we seemed to spend a lot of time standing around listening to the guide who tended to repeat himself. Last stop was incense making which was fine but by then it had been a long day. Perhaps having a few less stops would shorten the day and make it a bit less tiring.
Our day commenced with a dragon boat ride but sadly it was pouring with rain so we could hardly see anything - first stop was the Pagoda which was a great sight. We then moved on and had a most interesting tour of the Citadel Which is a really large complex -we then stopped for lunch which was very good - after lunch we made stops at several tombs where the ceramic walls were an amazing sight. On the way we stopped off at a village where we saw them making hats and incense sticks and we were able to have a go at rolling the incense, it was good fun. Our guide Neun was most informative and made the whole day really interesting. Would highly recommend this tour.
