Overview

Explore Port Arthur, founded in 1830 as a penal settlement and timber station for the punishment of convicts on the Tasman Peninsula by private charter service. It is now an open air museum and a well preserved piece of history. Your guide will explain all the stories and history, and after lunch (extra expense) you can visit four natural wonders: Devils Kitchen, The Tasman Arch, Blow Hole, ND Tessellated Pavement.

We had a wonderful time and our guide was excellent. We were able to see some beautiful sites, have a great wine tasting and lunch and learned some of the history about Tasmania. It was very interesting. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. The tour company was very easy to work with, and very accommodating to our requests.
