The Peppermint Bay cruise was a lovely, relaxing day out. The staff on the boat were excellent & the lunch was very good. We would highly recommend this cruise for a great day out.

We have done the Peppermint Bay experience before and could not to get back to Hobart to do it again. The first time was great this time was better, the crew and Captain do a magnificent job with friendly service backed up by excellent food and good quality wines. We will be back again, thanks team you go above and beyond.

The journey was OK but although speakers were fitted everywhere the captains comentary could not be heard mostly. The food was not particularly good, very small portions and not that nice, money spent on this trip could be better spent elsewhere.

I had two friends visiting from the mainland and we all thoroughly enjoyed the day. The boat ride was great, with good commentary, and Peppermint Bat itself was beautiful. We had a lovely 3 course meal with a glass of wine and enjoyed the day.

Very easy process to check in and board. Beautiful boat, very comfortable seats, lovely staff, variety of drinks and snacks available.... Peppermint Bay was stunning, and the meal was 10/10.. absolutely decadent.. they cater for all dietary needs and the service was quick and friendly.. . Absolutely would recommend this cruise..

Some initial confusion as to meeting point. Viator app says ‘no meeting point selected’, and Google search yields 2 results - neither is right. Correct meeting point is a little booth among others on Brooke Street Pier. Entrance is the ramp behind the pink rocket. Peppermint Bay booth is about 30 feet/10 meters inside the building past the top of the ramp.
The cruise boat has the most comfortable seats I’ve ever had on a sightseeing cruise. So comfortable, I saw heads nodding while I was taking pictures :-)
Restaurant is a very modern glass and steel structure on a peaceful shore front reminiscent of Adirondack lakes in New York State, USA. It can get a bit hot behind the glass if sitting in the sun, but staff helped move the sunniest tables. Menu is comparable to a fine upscale restaurant, but with a relaxed atmosphere of a vacation spot. Walk around the property after lunch and get some scenic photos. Visit the garden that provides the vegetables you just ate. Beautiful location.

Glorious weather, calm waters, viewing the Alum Cliffs and the Iron Pot lighthouse all made our trip to Peppermint Bay Hotel and Woodbridge memorable. The hotel itself and the fabulous three course meal were the icing on the cake.

We couldn't have wished for a nicer day. Beautiful clear blue sky, temperature a comfortable 20 degrees and calm waters. The cruise from Hobart to Peppermint Bay was fantastic with magnificent views along the Derwent River and along the d'Entrecasteaux Channel enjoying a couple of glasses of sparkling wine. The lunch at Peppermint Bay was outstanding. Delicious, plated beautifully and very generous servings. The staff were friendly, outgoing and all excellent. We saw a couple of seals on the way down but no dolphins or whales this time. When we arrived back in Hobart I realized to my horror that I'd left my glasses at the restaurant. I went to speak to the staff to get a contact number to ring only to discover the staff had spotted my glasses and brought them onto the boat and kept them safe until I came looking for them. A fortunate end to a perfect day

A great way to see Hobart from the bay. The boat is very comfortable & the huge windows make it very easy to see the sights. Peppermint Bay is a beautiful location to sit back & enjoy a delicious lunch with a truly great view. It's worth travelling to just for the meal & wine alone but the boat trip makes the day even more enjoyable!

Fantastic view of coastline, great explanations from the captain, the staff were very friendly and provided excellent service both on the catamaran and at the Peppermint Bay restaurant. Extremely beautiful area with plush green surroundings. Made friends from other parts of the world and states of Australia. The food was amazing coul not fault the day or trip.
