ACE travel ran the tour and they were very good - excellent guide, modern minibus, informative. Good lunch. The tour itself - of the 8 hours, 4 are spent in traffic getting there and back. On the actual Mekong, the tour goes to an island and back. No river cruise. Buay river traffic, damaged environment. On the island, the tour moves between a range of tourist traps, along with busloads of other tourists. Some of these were interesting, but none were what you might call valuable cultural experiences, other than to see how tourism runs locals' lives. Various opportunities to buy crap. If that's your thing, great. If not, give it a miss.

Awesome tour! 10 out of 10 We didn't expect anything at all, except that the Mekong Delta is mandatory. Booked literally 7 hours before the tour, but still, about half an hour before meeting the guide at the collection point, the guide wrote in what’s app. There was everything: rafting on three types of boats, a tour of the coconut village, tastings of candy, fruit, tinctures, lunch, a visit to the park with three Buddhas, rental by bike (they are hardly alive, of course, but it only adds flavor). No one anywhere has absolutely imposed the purchase of products, which is most often on tours with tastings. And at the end of the tour we were all given a coconut! I highly recommend the tour to anyone who wants to learn more about real Vietnam. Take the same cash to thank the guide with a tip, it's worth it.
