Great tour. Ken did a fantastic job - really lovely guy. Perfect way to see the tunnels and learn about them.
The first hand insight into the experiences, history and the times when these tunnels were built and the effort that went into the endeavour was enlightening. To move through these tunnels now and try to imagine life for the men and women who fought on each side was moving and unforgettable.
Our guide Tri provided some useful commentary at the beginning and occasionally at points on the tour.

Visiting the Ben Duoc Tunnels was amazing and far less crowded than Ben Dinh. You get to explore many tunnels, making it a truly enriching experience without the heavy crowds (though our guide mentioned it gets busier on weekends).
Our guide, Ben, was fantastic! He was super friendly, very attentive, and explained everything clearly. He always made sure we understood all the explanations in English and took the time to answer our questions and clarify details.
They also provided us with bottled water and fresh tapioca (cassava) at the end. Highly recommended!

The history a must see! I didn’t go down the tunnels but the tourists travelling with me in the small group did. I minded the bags.

You need to be healthy to go on this trip. Going down the tunnel is tough as you will need to bend your knees to get though it. It is hot and can be tough to breath. Oh and I should mention there are some bats down there as well.

A really great experience to relive what it might have been like living and surviving in the tunnels. Ken was so knowledgeable and thoughtful in his story telling. The experience gave me a firsthand perspective of what both the soldiers and villagers endured during the war. Seeing the conditions and strategies up close helped me better understand how they were able to succeed. I also had the opportunity to fire an RPK machine gun. It was expensive, but absolutely worth the experience. The museum itself is a must-visit. I noticed many visitors could not read either English or Vietnamese, so they relied on translation apps on their phones to understand the exhibits. I ended up taking photos of many of the displays so I could revisit them later and fully take in the information at my own pace.

Little to no frills Cu Chi Tunnel tour. This was a great tour because I was looking to avoid random stops/stores/restaurants in the middle of the tour.
The tour consisted of:
1. being picked up at the pick-up spot
2. picking up other guests
3. bathroom break + snack break + option to buy some local artwork
4. drive to Cu Chi Tunnels
5. Cu Chi Tunnels tour
6. drive home
Essentially it was just driving + tour
The tour guide, Ken, was really enthusiastic, informative, and entertaining. Definitely brightened up the entire tour.
The tour of the Cu Chi tunnels themselves was also very interesting. Definitely very enlightening to know the harsh conditions of the soldiers and also how resilient they must have been..
We arrived back at the HCMC at the war remnants museum by 2:15 so I had the rest of the afternoon to see the city.

Amazing, recommend wearing full clothes as we encountered a lot of insects and mosquitoes also try avoiding weekends
The tour is exactly what it purports to be: a long drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels with a stop for food and no pressure sale of Vietnamese art done by disabled artists. The Tunnels are interesting, but not for the claustrophobic. Our guide, Kan, told us of their history and purpose. We also saw many American transport and war vehicles, from a helicopter to a bomber, as well as the artillery and weapons used by them. We then saw how the Vietnamese countered the Americans with their weapons, traps, and deception. Kan did a wonderful job explaining the history and did it in a light and wonderful way, especially considering the heavy subject matter. We'd recommend Kan as a guide, without reservation. Afterwards, we added on the War Remnants Museum, which was an exercise in State-sponsored propaganda against the Americans (much of it justified but clearly biased). We would highly recommend the Tour, but of the 10 participants only my partner and I added on the Museum.

A great experience with our guide Ken! He was chatty, friendly and knowledgeable. Our time at the tunnels was relaxed and not rushed and looked out for all of us. With the long journey time to and from it was appreciated that we had some quiet time to ourselves too. Only small issue was that we were not contacted in advance about our pick up time and I had to reach out myself morning of before the scheduled 7:30am departure time. Being contacted the night before would have been preferred.

My visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels was honestly quite disappointing, mainly due to the way the tour was managed and, especially, the guide’s behavior throughout the day.
Before even reaching the tunnels, we were taken to a so-called traditional handicraft workshop, where we ended up stopping for almost an entire hour. This stop felt completely unnecessary and excessively long. There was very little explanation about the crafts themselves, and it was clear that the main purpose was not educational but commercial.
Most of us had nothing to do there after the first few minutes, and the extra time felt wasted, especially considering how limited the time later felt at the actual Cu Chi site.
When we finally arrived at the tunnels, the guide’s explanations were extremely brief and superficial. There was very little historical context given about the Vietnam War, the significance of the Cu Chi area, or how the tunnels were used by the people who lived and fought there. For such an important and meaningful historical site, this lack of depth was very frustrating. Instead of helping us understand what we were seeing, the guide mostly rushed through the stops with minimal commentary.
What made the experience worse was the constant feeling of being hurried. The guide seemed to be in a rush the entire time, as if his only goal was to finish as quickly as possible and head back. If you stopped for even a couple of seconds to look at something, read a sign, or take in the surroundings, you would immediately fall behind and have to hurry to catch up. There was no time to properly observe, reflect, or ask questions. Any attempt to engage more deeply with the site felt discouraged.
Because of this constant rushing, the visit felt more like ticking boxes than actually learning or experiencing anything. The tunnels themselves are fascinating and historically significant, but the way the tour was conducted prevented us from appreciating them properly. The contrast between wasting so much time at the craft stop and then being rushed through the main attraction made the organization feel unbalanced and poorly thought out.
Overall, this tour did not meet expectations. With a better guide—someone who provides clear explanations, meaningful historical context, and allows visitors time to absorb what they are seeing—the Cu Chi Tunnels could be an incredible experience. Unfortunately, in this case, the lack of explanation, the unnecessary long stop beforehand, and the constant sense of hurry made the visit frustrating rather than enriching.
