A Perfect Day Exploring Helsinki’s Architecture, Design, and Culture with Olga

Our tour of Helsinki with Olga was absolutely incredible. From the moment we began, she tailored the day perfectly to fit our large group and our shared interest in Helsinki’s unique architecture and design. Her knowledge was outstanding—not only did she provide fascinating history and details at every stop, but she also brought the city to life with stories and insights we never would have discovered on our own. Olga did an amazing job balancing the needs of a larger group while keeping the experience personal, engaging, and fun. She made sure we saw the most beautiful and interesting parts of the city, with a special focus on the architecture and design that make Helsinki so unique. She also went above and beyond to make sure we experienced the local culture, including making sure we had the chance to try reindeer and local licorice! It was such a thoughtful touch and made the day even more memorable. If you are visiting Helsinki, I cannot recommend Olga highly enough. She made our day truly special and unforgettable.

Really enjoyed this tour. Guide was super easy to talk to and clearly knows Helsinki well, didn't feel like a rehearsed script. We hit all the main spots but it never felt rushed. Snacks and water were a nice touch too. Genuinely one of those tours where you actually come away having learned something. Would recommend.

We really enjoyed our private tour of Helsinki. Our tour guide, Olga was amazing as was our driver Alex. Olga was so knowledgeable about the history and culture of Helsinki and we were able to see so much in a short 4 hour tour. Olga was very fun to be around for the day and she offered us many ideas for things to do during the rest of our stay in Helsinki. We highly recommend this tour!

My sister and I had the most wonderful tour! Thanks to Cornelia, the language selection was easy and Alex did a remarkable job driving at the right speed we can catch with the pictures and being comfortable as well. This was an excellent tour! Our guide was very well informed about Helsinki and Finland and its people. She gave us great insight. We would recommend this tour. There was only one hiccup. The provider sent a SMALL station wagon type vehicle with three skinny seats in the second row and one folded in the back of that row! With our guide and driver we were 6 persons! We would have been sitting with our knees up to our ears if we had taken this vehicle. The tour company did send another larger vehicle, but not without letting us know that this is what they use for four people. I did not reply that if we were midgets, it might have been ok.

To be honest, even though our expectations about Helsinki were high, the goods were even better! In 4 hours, our guide Cornelia provided us with a behind the scenes look at Finnish culture and most of all, with deep insights about a distinct and surprising way of life. She even led us to brief outings that were outside of the scheduled places! Overall, the best day in our 12 day Europe trip!
