It is a long day but very interesting to see all the different places on the island in one day and Joseph did a fantastic job as a tour guide
Our guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating, the car was also very comfortable. I would recommend this experience to anyone.
Our driver Joseph was awesome.. He was very knowledgeable and engaging. He fulfilled every request we had. He made sure we got to do the things we wanted to do. He made a special stop so we could get a local lunch. We made several stops that traveling alone I doubt we would have discovered on our own.
We had a wonderful day with Albrect exploring many corners of Grenada. From the spice market, historical nutmeg processing station, chocolate factory, air strip, Concord Falls, and Etang Lake, Albrect provided history and context of everything we saw. We really appreciated the conversations about the US invasion in 1983 as well as current events. Having these discussions is so important to mutual understanding and coexistence.
I cannot recommend this private tour enough. Reading the other reviews simply don’t do it justice. Joseph was incredible.. his knowledge of the island and hospitality was top notch. We were able to design what we wanted to do from scratch and complete our entire bucket list at our speed. We saw Saint George’s, Concord Waterfall, Annandale Waterfall, Grand Etang (and Mona monkeys), River Antoine’s Run Distillery, History landmarks (war monuments/plane crashes) nutmeg processing factory, Chocolate Factories (Jouvay and house of chocolate), and covered/saw sights literally around the whole island. We also stopped at multiple bars for rum punch’s/beers and grabbed a quick “Roti” along with BBQ for the road to save time to make sure we crossed everything off the list. Joseph also went totally out of his way to help us get a reservation at the highly sought after “dexters restaurant” where we met Dexter himself and snuck us is for tomorrow night. This was the perfect way to see the entire island at your discretion. Thank you for an Amazing day!
We had a great day on a complete island tour with Gilbert.
He went out of his way to show us the places that we wanted to go to and see.
He took us to a great place for an authentic Grenadian lunch.
We experienced seeing the monkeys up in the rain forest.
We would highly recommend this tour.

Joseph was a great tour guide. We saw all the major attractions and Joseph answered all of our questions. The vehicle was comfortable. We enjoyed our lunch (not included) at the Belmont Estates. Grenada is a beautiful country with very kind people. I highly recommend this tour.

Joseph our guide was brilliant. Very knowledgeable and went above and beyond for us, we really wanted to do a rum distillery tour so he went out of his way to ensure we could fit that in as well. We had such a great day. Thank you
We were lucky to have Joseph as our guide for the day today. We were collected promptly in a very comfortable vehicle. We saw everything on the schedule plus some other sights that we asked to see. Joseph gave us lots of information and history which helped us to enjoy everything we saw even more. We were provided with cold beers/water while we travelled. We had a great day and are thankful to Joseph for helping us to see and experaince so much in one day. We would highly recommend this tour.
Not the same as the non private full day tour. Those are the reviews we read about and this did not cover same things.
Our driver, Joseph was great and very knowledgeable but the stops were quite cheesy in our opinion. It is a chocolate shop with a tables set up on different stages of chocolate making, not factory. Processing station was just building with pics and how it was done. Waterfall was very underwhelming. Leapers hill was a cemetery. Monkey singular, was neat but you are just on side of road by guard shack and not in rain forest. We were very disappointed especially for as expensive as it was.
We enjoyed our tour guide Ishan (not sure about the spelling). He was very knowledgeable about the island and made sure we were well taken care of. All stops during the day were very enjoyable.

This was an amazing tour with Joseph! The stops were great but the best part was the guide. He was so knowledgeable and friendly. He pointed out things along the drive and told us about the history of the island. The stops themselves were also very nice, I loved the concord waterfall and we had it all to ourselves. We had limited time in Grenada so we asked to add another stop to the tour and he did it without a problem and also added a stop to the house of chocolate himself since we said we hadn’t been there. And was willing to pull over whenever we saw pretty viewpoints where we wanted to take pictures. It was a GREAT day!

We had a private tour with Ishan and it was fantastic!! He was very informative about the island and all the stops. He made several extra stops in order to show us some of his favorite places. The Nutmeg museum was super informative and interesting. The spice market was great to pick up a few things to take back home. And finally at the national park we were able to interact and feed bananas to the monkeys. If you can request Ishan for your guide I would definitely recommend him!!!
Joseph was an excellent tour guide and driver. Very sweet, informative, and was able to change our itinerary since we had already been to one of the spots. He made the effort to make sure we saw everything we wanted to. We literally did a whole circle around the island!! Highly recommend this full day tour, and especially Joseph.
The full day private tour of Grenada was fantastic. Considering the price of a cruise ship excursion, the slight added cost was well worth the money. We got to see all the major places without the crowd. Our guide, Joseph, was amazing. Growing up on the island, he offered a lot more insight into the geography, history, and culture than the standard tour guide. Additionally, I had hoped to say hello to an old business associate who lives there. It was absolutely no problem to rearrange the schedule to allow us to have lunch with him. Ace Ventura Tours runs a very good operation. Joseph was prompt and professional. The car was clean and included the niceties like water and sodas. Booking through Viator and downloading our voucher was easy, as always. And unlike hiring a cheap cab at the port, we were fairly confident that Viator would deliver a quality tour. Very satisfied.

Our guide Joseph was very informative and interesting. We really felt like we got to know the island. Be sure to bring cash because in several spots you will be passed to a local guide who will expect a small tip (at Leapers Hill) or small purchase (at the spice market). They will take US dollars but only if the bills are not torn.

Curlin was our tour guide for this full day tour and it was a full day indeed! We saw everything on our itinerary plus some things that were not, like the house of chocolate. Curlin was a great tour guide and provided us with a lot of information regarding Grenadian history and culture. Highly recommend!
Joseph was an excellent tour guide. He picked us up at the hotel and not only took us to each location but also gave us information about the island and its people and history. Most stops do also have someone selling something so I would recommend spreading out your sovenior buying

Our guide (Martin) had super knowledge and absolutley nothing was to hard for him to do.
Wesaw practically all of the island in the flesh, and my word what a beautiful island Grenada is

We had a great day with Joseph. He took us to everywhere on our itinerary and also did an additional impromptu stop to make sure we saw everything we wanted to. He was really knowledgeable and really took the time to make sure we got the most out our day. Would highly recommend.
