Vondell was very friendly and made sure we had a great time! We stopped for photos all along the way and he stopped to point out landmarks, flora and fauna. He had refreshments for us and was very accommodating We had a great day!

We had a fun 1/2 day tour of the local market, chocolate factory, local sports bar, waterfall and lake.

What a great day experiencing the local culture with Vondell as he introduced us to the beauty, flavors, sounds and people of the spice isle! We enjoyed sampling local produce, spices, rum and chocolate. We had never seen an actual nutmeg…which was especially delicious when it was freshly ground into our rum punch! We met some great people and vendors along the way and Vondell kept us entertained on our drive around the island, sharing his love of SOCA music and telling us about the Grenadian people and traditions. He said we should all come back for Carnival in August! At the end of the tour he also shared the names of some of his favorite local spots, we ended up at a couple of them later that evening and enjoyed getting out on the town. We moved at a relaxed pace and we enjoyed each of the experiences. We ran out of time so didn’t make it to everything on the itinerary…clearly we need to return, there is much more to see and experience on this beautiful island.

I book this tour to start at 1pm but the driver called and couldn’t make it to the hotel until 2:30pm which wasn’t too terrible because we really wanted to see the island. His knowledge of the island was informative and took us to the waterfall and the lake. Due to the time we didn’t make it to other stops like the chocolate factory which wasn’t the end of the world. At the drop off I noticed he was trying to get my niece phone number (who is 19 and he’s double her age) which ticked me off and told him to leave her alone. When visiting Grenada again I won’t be booking this tour again due to costing US$650 for 5 people, not visiting all the stops and of course the inappropriate behavior from the driver interacting with my niece.

Truly a one-of-a-kind experience! Vondell was very communicative before our tour & made our day super special start to finish! Vondell created stops to really let us get immersed into the island. Vondell made everything relaxed, fun & helped you stay in the moment by capturing photos & videos during the experience! Vondell then helped us with other accommodations we already reserved by making phone calls & arranging rides to, from the destination. Just top-notch service, knowledge & person! Definitely recommend!!
