It was an interesting way to see Grand Rapids at night. The Ghost stories were not scary but the architecture & sites we visited were well worth the tour!

Great Grand Rapids history / ghost tour! Hal was fantastic and took extra time to walk through all of the spots and share stories in detail. I've lived here for twelve years and they pointed out things l've somehow never noticed in the city. Great tour, thank you Hal!

Dress appropriately for the temp. It was very informative. History has always fascinated me, but history that has happened a hundred years ago, right in my back yard, is that much more fascinating.

I would almost call this ghost tour a scam and not a ghost tour. A history lesson maybe but the guide didnt even seem like they were sure of the facts they were saying sometimes. Zero spooky factor.

It was a good way to start exploring the city, but as far as a ghost tour it was lackluster. The guide didn’t seem very knowledgeable and the stories didn’t really seem to go anywhere.

We had Katie as our tour guide last night and it was wonderful! We learned so much about the history of Grand Rapids and walked around the downtown area hearing cool tales of the beautiful buildings. Would recommend for anyone looking to do a walking tour of Grand Rapids - Katie was very funny and informative!

Wouldn't say it was a memorable experience. Needed to kill and hour and kill it it did! The tour guide was lovely enough and she was knowledgeable about her ghost history, but the tour itself wasn't particularly exciting, we pretty much walked along the road and looked at a few historical buildings. My suggestion make it more interactive and hands on. Maybe introduce a bit of theatre or role play to get the participants more involved. It very much felt like a school field trip. I was very tempted to misbehave, but thankfully I kept my composure. Again no discredit to the tour guide, she was a nice lady and was probably just following the lead she had been given, she had only been at the company 6 months bless her, but given there are very few tours in Grand Rapids there is scope to make this the go-to tour for all Viator vacationers. Maybe some props and a costumes getting into the character of one of the ghosts and telling the story from their perspective. Great selfie opportunity for the participants and good promo for the company. You can have those gems for free! Consultancy available upon request and fee subject to negotiation lol. You have a good foundation guys just build on it! Mr I Get Around.

Our first experience was not being able to find the tour. Because the directions Google could not get us to the location. But we finally arrived sorry that we did!
I don't know if it was the tour guides first time giving the tour but she was very distracted and seemed to be searching for words. Also, there was another couple that couldn't find the place, she took the phone call to direct them. She could not get herself together and focus on the group to tell her story, she was very distracted. She kept using the word "um" every other word. At 1 point, she told us that her mind was all over the place, not very professional. We ended up leaving after 5 minutes.
I would recommend having someone be with her until she understand the tour and the history or have her shadow one of your experience guides. Since we were late, I don't know her name.
Waste of time and money! If I could give this a negative star I would have but 1 star is the lowest I could go

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly however I would consider this to be more of a walking historical tour then a Ghost tour. I honestly was expecting to be able to enter some buildings and potentially be creeped out. Maybe I didn’t read the description well enough. At any rate it was warm and we got to see downtown GR
