- Grand Cayman is a tender port, please disembark as early as possible to avoid missing your tour. You may request "priority tender" on-board your ship
- On arrival to the cruise port, look for the "AMVIVO" sign located at the gazebo next to the North Terminal. You may ask a port staff for assistance if necessary
- Check-in will start at 8:40 AM
- Tour operates on local Island time not ship's time
- If your ship dock's somewhere other than George Town, please take a cab over to meeting location downtown
- If you arrive to the meeting location too early and don't see anyone from Amvivo do not panic, there are shops and free Wifi spots within 100 feet from the meeting point where you can wait around and kill time.
- Not recommended for cruise passengers with departure time 1pm (local time) or earlier
- Not recommended for travelers with limited mobility

Not sure what I paid for aside from transportation to the Tortuga factory and the beach. Everything else had to be paid for separately and could’ve been a $12 per person fee from the port with any taxi driver. Beach was completely overcrowded to where you couldn’t even sit in the water and every five minutes, they were telling you to get out of the water because of the jet skis and other motor boats. It was $17 for two sodas.

The tour was scheduled to leave at 9:00 AM. It is a walk from the ship as it is tendered. Our ship did not have clearance to tender until 9:00 AM. Therefore how are we supposed to meet at the meeting point at 9:00AM?
The people at the information booth were very rude! And said “they left, you were not here” We called the number that is on the Viator app. They said to find another way to the beach. They could not help us. $200.00+ down the drain. Taking a taxi to the 7 mile beach for $6.00. DO NOT IDO THIS EXCURSION!!!

Way too crowded We knew we would have to purchase chair and umbrella BUT they were literally ALL up against each other in a very long row AND umbrellas did not allow the benefit of Sun or no Sun Because were not able to move the chairs OR the umbrella. AND very unsafe beach due to Jet Skis and "Car Skis" parked and flying directly in the water in front of the chairs. HOWEVER the woman who drove us to the Beach, Paula AKA Brown Sugar (As per herself) was very friendly and talked and talked and talked the whole bus trip to the beach. We had to take a cab back to to the port because she ended up with a new tour -
All in All it would only have been $12 for a round trip to the beach vs. $60 Plus each via Viatour So no I would not book again

I agree the Seven Mile Beach is a sought-after attraction and it can feel crawdad some times, specially on days when we have many ships in port. We try to be punctual when departing form the beach. If you did not informed the driver about your plans stay at the beach longer, and you weren't sitting on the bus when it was time to leave, we automatically assumed that you made other transportation arrangements and move on with the tour. Details such as our transportation pick up spot were lacking. The excursion also didn’t mention stopping at a rum cake bakery or that our travel time to the beach would be over 30 min each way. By the time we got to the beach we had 90 min before we had to leave. We wanted the entire 4 hours at the beach.

My cruise ship arrived at 1030, and I was unable to contact Viator. Can I get a refund? I did not know that ship would arrive that late.

Our driver Andrew was on time and very friendly. He was extremely knowledgeable about the island as he pointed out places of interest on our way to the Tortuga Rum Factory and Seven Mile Beach. He also made sure we were back in time to eat at a local favorite restaurant and shop before boarding our ship.

Let me start by saying, this is the worse ripoff tour by far since im booking with Viator. We were in a cruise from march 22 to 29th with MSC and decided to book this tour (a family of 7). When we arrived in Cayman, we had to go offshore using smaller boats and it was one very long process. We had to wait for our number to be called and passengers who had booked directly with MSC had first preference together with MSC members. By the time we got off the boat, we had to look for the tent and since we didnt get off on time, was hoping to see an office, a phone number or something, but there wasnt any of that. I tried reaching out to them by the app but they were not helpful. We end up using local transport which cost only $6 per person. Afterwards I tried talking to viator and explained to them the situation, i was rejected a full refund. I had to call once more explaining how it was impossible for us to get there by 9. They end up doing a partial refund of $107 of the $373 I paid. Very disappointed with the handling of this situation with both Viator and the local tour company and I strongly recommend if you are on a cruise, think twice before taking this tour. read other reviews as well. A total ripoff!!

Unfortunately, there's nothing much we can do about that other than suggest requesting priority tender passes aboard the ship. This seems to work well for frequent visitors.

Picked us up at the cruise terminal, did a nice tour of the famous Tortola Rum Cake Factory, then dropped us off at 7-mile beach.
NOTE: No beach chairs, umbrella or food and drinks are included.

Our driver was the best. He give a great tour of the Grand Cayman. He was very friendly. The tour was the perfect length and so was the time at the rum tasting and the beach perfect combo. Definitely would recommend.

Tour was well run and we had a blast. The folks in charge were very gracious. The beach became a little crowded and there were no places to get food or drink and lines at the rest room were long but the beach was gorgeous. We would recommend it and would go back again.

Dont do it! We were driven to a boring rum cake store for 30 minutes then pulled up to a public beach where locals hound you to the point fighting each other to sell you there goods very uncomfortable. I chose to taxi back to port early 20 minutes for 6.00!

We enjoyed our beach day, however, I wished it was longer than 2 hours. I could've done without the rum tasting stop we took. But our driver was fun and knowledgeable. Overall it was a great excursion.

I had been sending emails since the night before and day of tour as to my whereabouts so they would know where I was. I was informing your guide that the ship I was on was tendering to the port. Passengers with ship’s excursions had priority leaving ship. My tender ticket was for 9:10. The only communication I got was sorry you missed your tour. I asked for a refund and received an email that they are refunding only 50%. I ido not recommend this tour unless the ship you’re on arrives very early and there is no tendering. I took a taxi and it was a fraction of the cost only $24 round trip for two. This excursion charged me $68

Regarding the taxi ride for $24, it is much more inexpensive to book a beach transfer than a beach excursion that includes complimentary cruise port pickup & drop-off, snorkeling mask & fins, food & drinks testing, shopping & photo opportunity, informative & professional tour guide, and everything else you normally don't get with a beach transfer.

Lady who checked us in and Louis were great. Had great time. You had to rent and chair and umbrella for 25 which was a bit pricy for 2 hours. My daughter and I snorkeled right off the beach and saw barracuda, eels, spotted Eagle rays and a variety of fish.

Horrible experience! We waited for over a half hour in the blazing sun and no one ever showed up! We had to pay a new taxi charge to take us and it ended up being an insanely crowded public beach! I would never recommend this to anyone, wish I could give it a negative rating! I requested a refund, but I doubt I will see anything!

We enjoyed Gio’s history of the island tour to the rum store and beach. He was very impressive. The down side was we had to walk two blocks to the van from the meeting point. That was not too bad however, the driver Leo left before our scheduled pick up time. Luckily Leo was there and we were able to ride back with him to the cruise port. We really appreciate Gio’s great customer service.

Leo was awesome. We learned fun facts on the way to the beach and the rum cake factory. We could have done without the extra stops so we could have more time to stay at the beach but overall it was worth it! Beach was beautiful! We were a large group and they were able to keep us all together so we would do it again and the complimentary snorkel gear was a plus!

It was easy to find our guide as promised. He led us to an air-conditioned bus, offered us bottled water and took us on a ride. The Rum Cake factory was closed for renovations so we visited a new "look out " structure. It was nice. We departed the bus near the shoreline of the Seven Mile Beach. One is left to do business with the guys to operate the beach chair and umbrella business. Not a problem. The guys were most accomadating. It was a wonderful time. We were there maybe 2 1/2 hrs. at most. Our guide was very professional and good natured. The company was Amvivos. We will be back in December and will book with them again.

Excellent tour and great tour guide! Leo was the best, detail oriented, friendly, punctual, and etc. All expectations were clearly laid out upfront and we stuck perfectly to the itinerary.
