Authentic afternoon learning about the tradition of sharing Fika - the guide was local and had a fabulous, easy, and fluent way of sharing her love of Gothenburg history, sites, and traditions. I visited many of her recommendations the next day - fabulous!!

There were just three of us which made the tour very personal. We learnt a lot about the Swedish culture, about development of Gothenburg and its culinary habits while testing different sweets in different places. It is a very nice tour - pleasant and very informative. I would recommend it as it is also a very good value for the money. Thank you!

Be sure you are ready to eat several pastries AND coffee on this tour! We met Sara for two hours and walked to three different bakeries to taste fika and other Swedish pastries. Fortunately for us the other people didn’t come so we had Sara to ourselves. She is lovely and friendly and a very worldly woman. She explained all the different pastries and how they were named and the history behind them. It’s pretty fascinating! We totally enjoyed our day and time with Sara and if you like sweets then this is the tour for you! Lots of fun. Would definitely recommend.

The guide never showed and we waited 20 minutes past the start time. We received confirmation the day before. “Contact Host” chat and telephone calls were never answered. There are plenty of cafes nearby so skip the tour and explore the area yourself.

Our guide was Kelena. She was great. Told us about the history of Fika. She also gave us some ideas about other things we could do in Gothenburg. Very personable. The food was wonderful. Loved everything about the tour and the food. Highly recommend.

Our guide Kalina, was adorable and so sweet! She walked us around and we sampled the lovely desserts and drinks of Gothenburg. It was very easy going as we moseyed through the quaint alleys and streets. She gave us lots of tips for restaurants and other things to do in the area, i highly recommend! Keep in mind, it is a lot of sweets! We had to take the desserts to go at the last stop. It would be great if they could add in some savory (or tea sandwiches) at the last stop instead of more desserts. Alcohol would be also fun!
