I can only recommend this boat tour. The staff was very friendly and the area covered was big enough. We saw a lot of the islands in the archipelago and leaned about the history and the present. Highly recommended! And the food in the ship‘s restaurant was very tasty.

Disappointing customer service

Like other reviews, the tour operator did not turn up or inform it was cancelled. A group of us waited another 30 mins after the scheduled time just in case and left disappointed.

Your operator didn’t turn up!

We arrived 20 minutes before the departure time and waited for 50 minutes but no one turned up. Rang Viator who confirmed the location, and there were other groups there waiting for the same tour. The boats were there with lights on but seemingly no one onboard. The operator is closed at the weekends so couldn’t contact them. Just had to leave 30 minutes past the scheduled start time.

Nice trip through the archipels

Very nice boat tour with a guide that knows a lot about the history. You could do with or without Lunch. We didn’t have lunch but we enjoyed it nevertheless. There were snacks, drinks and ice cream to get at the bar.

A very good tour of the Gothenburg archipelago. Limited indoor seating (only an issue when it rained.. which it did), other than that, a great way to view Gothenburg and the islands away from the city centre, and find out more about the city and its history.

Average tour and the operator

There's always some confusion with this tour in terms of it's starting point and unless you have a prebooked ticket it's very to get a place in the boat e.g. city pass. The tour itself it's okay the archipelago it's not as beautiful as in the Stockholm area. It's an okay experience.

Boat ride was fine, if you find it.

The directions lead us to the wrong location. We reached out and received no response to our inquiry as to where we were actually supposed to meet. Most other guests on the trip were also frustrated and unsure where to go. The dock was at least 2 blocks from the claimed meeting spot. The boat cruise itself was fine. The outdoor area filled up quickly so we had to sit inside, even though technically we arrived early. Reading previous reviews I see a trend where the excursion was missed or no one was there. How is this meeting point not already corrected? Shame on you.

The tour never happened...

The tour never happened even though Viator took my money. My family and I waited atvthe dock and no one ever showed up. I suspect Stromma who isnyhe tour provider did not have plans to tour that day. Please refund.

La croisière en bateau est pas mal, on découvre l’archipel de Göteborg. Cependant, les indications sur le port pour savoir quel bateau nous devons prendre, sont inexistantes. Il serait donc judicieux de mettre de simples feuilles donnant des infos précises afin d’orienter au mieux les personnes.
