You went above and beyond to ensure that my daughter and I connected to the heartbeat of Georgetown, it's sounds, sights, and tastes. You have helped, beyond words, for me to come full circle as a native-born Chinese-Guyanese who moved to Canada at 3 years old, to finally return to visit my place of birth at 67 years old! We took the Guyana's City Center Tour with Lunch experience with Chris and had a great time. We explored multiple locations in the city including two museums and enjoyed the information we were provided as well as the lunch and a few surprises. Overall it certainly was a very enjoyable first impression of Georgetown and we highly recommend both Wanderlust and Chris.

We had a great time on this tour and got to see many places around Georgetown during our short time in Guyana. Our tour guide, Cherry Ann, was the absolute best! She was nice and personable, and really knew her Guyana info. She made our tour great and we would absolutely recommend.

WOW. This was probably the best tour that I have ever taken. This was our first trip to GT and were very nervous about what to expect. However, from the first minute, our tour guides made us feel at ease! The team was very communicative, arrived punctually and had a great sense of humor. They gave us more facts about guyana than I ever could have imagined in a fun and engaging way. They were able to facilitate all of our specific requests, like stopping for coconuts on the side of the road. Also, bonus points for feeding manatees in the park! We felt so at ease with them that we ended up booking a second tour with them for the following day. I highly recommend this tour to fellow Guyanese or visitors from everywhere who want to get to know the city. I will definitely do this tour again and will refer this company to my friend and family!

Jamal was fantastic. This was a perfect way to get an overview of the city whilst tasting some delicious food along the way (I highly recommend the Egg Ball, one of the best things I've eaten this year.) Couldn't imagine not doing this tour!

We highly enjoyed this tour. A nice afternoon being driven around Georgetown by two knowledgeable and pleasant tour guides. The lunch was delicious. A load of information but never felt overloaded. A really interesting city and one that’s clearly on the up. Would recommend for any visitor to Georgetown

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the guide Jamal was quite good. However we were extremely disappointed that the tour was not a bus tour. We would have greatly appreciated being given the choice if we wanted to continue in a private tour or not.
Customers should be respected enough to be told of these changes and given a choice. You are aware that the dynamics of a bus tour is very different from a private tour.
According to your rules we are given a cut off time to advise you of changes or we lose our money. If a material change like this is presented to us after the cut off time for refundable changes how do we get compensated?

We want to clarify that there was never any mention in the tour description that the experience would exclusively be a bus tour. Our itinerary always states "car/bus tour" to provide flexibility depending on the number of guests. For smaller groups, we use a car for 1 or 2 guests while still ensuring the same engaging and immersive experience.
The 24-hour cut-off time is standard for tour bookings, and we believe it's a fair policy to help both guests and operators with planning and adjustments.

This was a great experience. Our guide was a lovely young lady, who was very courteous and informative. She was very thorough and wanted to make sure we were happy. The driver was great and really added to things. I really liked the family that was on the tour with me. The best part was the final surprise! I don't want to give it away. Super-amazing and unexpected.

Triscilla was brilliant. She communicated with us before the tour and even picked us up at our hotel which was not a named pick up point. She is a brilliant historian and a gracious host. She modified our tour so we were able to enjoy the Jerry Barry art exhibit. We would definitely book another tour.
