This tour is a good way to cover a lot of ground in Penang in one day. I had an itinerary in mind, but with heavy rain for part of the day, the driver, Nasir, made helpful suggestions - temples, museums, a mansion, and then several outdoor sights once the weather cleared. It turned what could have been a washout into a full and worthwhile day. Nasir was personable, accommodating, spoke good English, and keep things moving at a comfortable pace. The car was clean and comfortable, which made the ride between stops easy. My advice: request an English-speaking driver, bring cash for site entry, and enjoy.

Great way to browse through Penang in a day

Driver-com-guide was obliging and friendly throughout the tour. Shared history and background of places of interest from start till end. Just need to bear in mind this is a private tour and be prepared to bring along spare cash for local produce and optional tours along the way.

When I booked this excursion it never crossed my mind to ask if the driver spoke English. Well, unfortunately he didn’t so it made the day very difficult. I had to have other drivers talk to him for us. So we got no history of what we were seeing and he couldn’t tell us about the city or culture. It was someone that just drove us from one place to the next which I’ve never experienced before. The itinerary that you see on the website theres no way to do it in 7 hours! We only went to 4 places and that was our excursion.

Amazing tour! Nasir “Boy Penang” was wonderful! He was patient, respectful, and kind. He took me to all the places I wanted to see and I enjoyed everything. Highly recommend Nasir and his services. Next time I visit Malaysia, I will definitely choose Nasir.

Our driver and tour guy, “Boy” Penang was amazing! He was so knowledgeable and friendly. He picked the best places that we would never have known to visit. We had our 14 month old and the tour was perfect! Highly recommend!!
