Great way to sample Penang

Travelling with friends we found this great alternative way to see and experience Penang Island … which we can’t recommend enough. We all rode pillion with 4 experienced riders and even the nervous were confident with taking photos as we went along in the end. The food experience was brilliant with 5 spaced out stops at some authentic (well chosen and safe) local/street food locations. If you’re up for an adventure - give it a go !

A must do in Penang ! A great way to see Penang and try lots of local dishes. Jacky,Ali & Tan were very informative and helpful. We had so fun with them and nothing was too much trouble. Felt very safe and we were well looked after. Would definitely recommend

This tour was an incredible way to experience Penang! Riding on the back of a motorcycle through the city was thrilling, but we always felt completely safe thanks to our amazing guides — so friendly, professional, and attentive. The food was the real star — every stop featured delicious, authentic dishes from local spots we never would’ve discovered on our own. It was the perfect mix of hidden gems, culture, and fun. If you're even slightly hesitant about the motorcycle part, don’t be — it was smooth, comfortable, and added so much to the experience. Highly recommend!

Joe was great as a driver and showed me all over town in driving from place to place - was great and we talked about all things local along the way. Glad he had a full size motorcycle that I fit on. Overall the food choices were representative of Penang. Joe often asked if I wanted to try something else at the hawker areas when I guess I was assuming they had picked out food samples already. Perhaps the only somewhat letdown was the chicken wings since they are so common everywhere; but he accommodated my western limited spice heat level limits on the flipside. This was a good time.

This is a fantastic tour especially for people who want to see the real penang & eat the foods locals have in local restaurants. Highlight of Penang has to be the motorbike street food tour……5 courses at 5 different places. I hopped on a motorbike with Joe a very friendly tour guide who was great company and a very safe driver. The food will not be to everyone’s taste but is as authentic as it gets! We visited spots that most tourists don’t get to see! The vibrant energy, incredible flavors, and the sheer number of people packed into these humble eateries were unforgettable. It wasn’t fancy at all…….but it was real. If you're in Penang, forget the fine dining for one night. This is where the magic happens! Great fun…..give it a try!

I was looking for an original food tour and I found it! Jacky and his whole team have been in great care with us from start to finish. We discovered dishes and places we would never have found alone or on foot. Beyond the tastings they are people who love their island and showed us with passion! My husband and the kids have a little trouble with English but they still managed to make themselves understood and express themselves and icing on the cake Jacky speaks a little French. A big thank you to everyone and also to Kenny with whom the communication was very fluid for the organization knowing that we had done it at the last minute! I really recommend this experience!
