Our driver Mike picked us up at our hotel and drove my husband and I the approximate one hour drive to and from our hotel in Gdansk to Malbork Castle. He was a fountain of information with great insights about the history of Gdansk and Poland. He took back roads through the Polish countryside on the return with a special stop at a bakery in a small village town. We had a different private tour guide at the Castle with more than 10 years of experience giving Malbork Castle tours. She provided an excellent tour giving us all the important details without boring us with too much information. I highly recommend taking this tour if you have time while visiting Gdansk. The castle is a definite highlight while visiting Poland and this private tour was an absolute pleasure!

Great experience at Malbork Castle! Enjoyed time with tour guide Alicia with 47 years of experience! Mike picked us up and dropped us back home giving us a great overview on the history of Gdansk, Malbork castle and everything in between!

Driver was waiting for me in the lobby of my hotel with my name on a sign. He took me to his vehicle and transported me while talking about sites we were passing along he way. I asked to be taken to some very photogenic spots where I could take photos of the entire castle and he accommodated me without hesitation. Once we arrived at the ticket counter my private guide, an English teacher, guided me for 2.5 hours through the castle explaining the history of the castle to date. She did a flawless job and was easy to understand making it a very enjoyable tour. The driver met us promptly at the designated spot and we returned to Gdansk via a different route while he again spoke about the significance of the sites we were passing along the way. From start to finish the driver and guide were professional and provided a very enjoyable drive and tour. I highly recommend.

Our driver, Marek was wonderful.
The castle was amazing.
Marek spoke perfect English.
He provided great commentary sbout the area. Made sure we were taken care of.

Wonderful experience. The driver was right on time and had all sorts of knowledge about Malbork and Gdansk generally. Once at the castle we met the guide, who was simply superb. Energetic, knowledgeable, and super friendly. I would highly recommend this tour.

The tour was very well-organized: we got picked up from the train station in Gdansk and were transported to the Malbork castle about 1 hour drive. On the way there, our driver, Mike, shared a lot of very interesting facts about the Polish economy, history, etc. When in Malbork, Mike purchased us our tickets to the castle and connected us with our tour guide. The tour guide in Malbork was highly professional unfortunately, I cannot recall her name : . She offered to take cool pictures, knew how to avoid the large touristic groups, what exactly to spend time seeing, and appeared generally very knowledgeable. I really enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide was able to customize the program a bit and per our liking i.e. we visited the Tower which is open only a few months a year vs. the Armory.Towards the end it got quite hectic but she wanted to make sure that we make it back to meet our driver on time which we did! The most efficient and effective way to see the castle! After the castle tour, our driver, Mike, took us back to Gdansk, using a very scenic road so that we could see Polish countryside. Overall, it was a highly professional, very well-organized, zero-stress tour.

This was an exception tour of the Malbork Castle. The driver was quite punctual and friendly and pointed out places of interest as he drove us to our tour and back. The guide at the Castle was very knowledgeable of the history of the Castle and gave an exciting lecture as we toured the Castle. Would recommend this tour to everyone.
