- Please let us know if you have limited mobility e.g. injury, arthritis or recent surgery? There are two high ladder style steps into the helicopter. This information could effect what helicopter we fly you in.
- Comfort Seats: Our helicopter seats are 40cm wide, an empty seat can be reserved next to you if you prefer extra space (passengers 120KG & over when weighed at check in will be required to purchase a Comfort Seat - these are half the RRP of your flight).
- Please note snow levels on this 25minute flight are seasonal. In summer the alpine landing site may have no snow & be a rocky mountain side. Please book a longer flight option for gauranteed snow.
- If we are unable to land due to weather conditions, you will be refunded the $30 landing fee and the flight length reduced by the landing time.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 20 travelers

Amazing experience! We felt very safe in the capable hands of Mark our pilot and we were impressed by the stunning views. We were very lucky with the weather and able to land on the glacier, after a couple of days with poor weather conditions.

A good experience which could be great with a few minor tweaks.
Our pilot had to adapt our flight to suit the weather conditions but could have communicated better.
Seated in the back of the helicopter one already has a restricted view, which was not helped by the front seat passenger holding up a large I pad to take photos!
Having said that it was pretty amazing to land on the glacier and get out for a short time.

Scenic flight across the Franz Josef and Fox Glaziers, amazing views and a must do activity if you’re in Franz Josef. 10/10 activity. Weather dependant on the snow landing as safety is the priiority.

The afternoon before our next morning 9:45 am helicopter ride I went to their office just to confirm and they mentioned that they have opening for earlier 8:30am flight if we wanted to which we accepted, but there was one problem (not operators) that we would not be able to land on snow because earlier rain washed the snow away, so they gave us 3 options-flight and no landing, pay extra to fly further and land on snow or a full refund. We decided to pay extra and land on the snow and it was worth it the helicopter flight was great. The staff and the pilot were very good, highly recommend .

We originally booked for the 25min flight but upgraded to the 35min on the day due to cloud cover. Staff were extremely lovely and very accommodating. They communicated the issue early and offered multiple options including a full refund if we didn't want to upgrade. We are so glad we did as it was definitely worth every cent. The pilot was great, providing info along the way. To see the glacier on the walking trail is nice, but you haven't seen it until you've dont this trip!

This was one of the best things I have ever done when travelling. The helicopter pilot was very experienced, and we had a glacier landing even though the clouds were rolling in. It was exhilarating flying over Franz Joseph above the clouds, just incredible!!

Unreal experience. First time I've been in a helicopter and it was so fun! I don't think there's a better way to experience the glaciers.
