I expected this to be a great experience but it exceeded in every way. Being up close to the glaciers is something I will never forget and flying over the top of the Ridgeline was an adrenaline rush! The company was top notch and the pilot changed the itinerary on the fly based on changing weather conditions. I would absolutely do it again!

Having had to reschedule because of the weather, it was well worth the wait.
The pilot was friendly and informative and the views were spectacular, culminating in a landing on top of Fox Glacier.

this was our 3rd attempt at a heli ride in NZ and finally we made it! Loved our flight and pilot! Our stop on the glacier was magical! This place wasn’t quite as organized as the last that told us what the show time was and what you could and couldn’t take in the flight but everyone was nice and the day was fantastic!

Well worth doing. Amazing views of the coast, mountains and Fox and Franz Josef glaciers. Landing above the Fox Glacier topped it off. We were fortunate to have excellent weather, not a cloud in the sky

The glazier landing was amazing, the snow was so soft we sunk down to our knees, which made it all the more fun experience for all of us. The pilot was informative and took great photos for us. Perfect weather conditions made it an amazing experience, even though we didn't get to fly over Fox Glazier as the weather closed in quite quickly. Landing on Franz Josef was awesome though.

Don’t bring bags or selfie sticks; you’ll have to leave these at the office otherwise.
Brilliant value for money. Excellent staff with great sense of humour. Gave us Aussies heaps of lip, deserved it all.
The lady chopper pilot pulled out all the tricks to Fox and Franz Joseph Glaciers. What a wonderful experience.

This experience should be on everyone's "bucket list" - it was Sensational !!
After a comprehensive safety briefing we hopped inside our immaculately presented helicopter with lots of windows and was warmly welcomed by our very experienced Pilot.
I'd forgotten just how awesome helicopters were.
The flight was very smooth and we saw everything - mountains, villages and glaciers. Landing on the snow was also very special. We took many photographs.
From the ground you actually see very little and it is not until you are in the air that you can appreciate this truly awesome and vast wilderness.
From the booking to landing everything was very well managed.

Great experience! Having never ridden in a helicopter before, my wife and I were a little apprehensive but excited to see the glaciers. The staff was incredibly professional and reassuring, setting us at ease. The flight itself was surprisingly smooth, and the views were spectacular. Landing in the snow, taking in the views in virtual isolation was a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended.

Great experience, kids (3 and 6) loved it and we will never forget this amazing tour.
No need to bring warm clothes in the summer if the weather is sunny and you will definitely need sunglasses.

Our tour with Fiordland Tours was ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR! Our pilot, Richard was so welcoming, informative and happy to take a few pics for us upon our land on the glacier. We had the most glorious weather and had more than adequate timing on the glacier. It was a mind blowing experience and one we’ll never forget!
I travelled with my brother, sister and their partners for 3 weeks in NZ and everyone agreed that was their highlight!
When you’re up there on the glacier, the world stands still and you’re lost in the moment of the beauty and awe around you.

The whole trip was wonderful. We were lucky with the weather and the views were tremendous. I had wondered whether it would be value for money as it is a short trip and expensive but worth every penny. Our pilot was great, shifting us around on the return journey so everyone got great views and plenty of time on the snow landing to take photos

Being able to view the glacier and mountain from above prior to landing on the glacier. It was my wife's first time in a chopper and she felt very comfortable with the flying experience. Although it is sad to hear the glacier is receding.
