We had a fantastic day on the private tour to Lipton’s Seat and the Dambetenna Tea Factory. Our guide, Saman, was an excellent driver on the winding roads from Ella and around the Lipton estate, which made the journey both comfortable and enjoyable.
We stopped at a lovely tea shop on the way for refreshments.
The views along the way were absolutely amazing, with stunning scenery throughout the tea plantations. Saman was polite, friendly, and very knowledgeable, and the tour of the tea factory was particularly interesting and informative. Although the clouds didn’t clear when we reached the top of Lipton’s Seat, it didn’t take away from the experience at all. We still thoroughly enjoyed the trip and would highly recommend this tour.

Excellent tour up to Lipton’s Seat, it’s a pretty bumpy road but Jeewa was a great driver. We were very lucky we had clear skies and amazing views. The tour of the tea factory was really interesting, we saw all the processes in action and got to do some tasting. Thanks Jeewa for a great day out and an excellent tour.

Mit meinem TourGuide Sam, einem klugen jungem Herr, wurde es zu einem sehr nachhaltig eindrucksvollen & interessanten Trip.
Was machte es so besonders - obwohl die lange TukTuk-Fahrt etwas herauffordernd war mit Verkehr/Lärm/Strassenverhältnisse, liess er es mit gezielten spannenden Infos und Hinweisen zur jeweiligen Situation sehr kurzweilig werden. Er beantwortete auch jegliche Frage geduldig und es war eine angenehm entspannte Zeit.
Die Fahrt durch die Plantage & dem anschliessenden TeefabrikBesuch war in jedem Fall eine Horizonterweiterung und jeder Teebeutel erfährt hierdurch eine ganz andere Wertschätzung ggü den Menschen & deren Leistung.

Te lleva en tuk tuk hasta el lipyon seat y luego a la fabrica donse te harán una visita de 15 min y no te dan a beber el te.
Luego paras en una cafetería a tomarte una taza y vuelta a casa. Nos pareció muy caro, 100€ los dos por lo que incluye, pensamos que sería un coche o una mini van.
