Itinerary
After pickup at your hotel in central El Calafate, depart for Santa Cruz province and your glacier adventure cruise. Gaze out the window at the Patagonian scenery during your 31-mile (50-km) drive to Puerto Bandera on the pristine Lago Argentino.
Climb aboard your vessel for a sail through Los Glaciares National Park's Lago Argentino. The lake's milky blue waters boast floating ice chunks that have calved (fallen off) of the glaciers in the area. View the Upsala Glacier, which flows form the Patagonian Ice Field, and marvel at the Spegazzini Glacier if weather permits.
Purchase lunch aboard the boat or enjoy a packed lunch you brought with you. Learn about the area's natural history, flora and fauna from your knowledgeable guide and snap photos as your boat weaves between floating icebergs of all sizes.
Afterward, the boat returns to Puerto Bandera, where you will board your vehicle for the return trip to El Calafate and drop-off at your hotel.

I paid for the trip and got the 'confirmed' status.
I've asked for - and received - the precise pickup time for our hotel.
They asked for additional passenger data and thanked me for providing them with all they needed.
Then, late afternoon right before the cruise, they sent me an email saying they have to cancel because they don't know where to pick us up from. All the despite the fact they got this information from Viator, set the precise pickup time and confirmed the completeness of data.
A call to their office revealed that, apparently, they will not be running the cruise on Saturday.
Calling their office, with one person talking loudly in the background and another person loudly whistling (seriously?!) in the background was a really bad experience. Trust me, you don't want to be doing all this last minute, in the middle of Patagonia, with spotty wifi/cell reception.
I ended up going with another, reliable company for the short boat trip + boardwalks. It was great. Book one of these instead.

the Vitator offer
El Calafate Glaciers Sightseeing Cruise
is exactly the same like the Rios de Hielo Express boat tour offered by many companies for the same Price or even a bether Price. I did not want to do this very short Rios de Hielo Express boat tour, thats why I ve choosen this offer by vitator. as it has promised something different and a longer tour. Promise broken, Vitator offeres this tour as an 8 hrs tour, but it was only 7 hrs, with only 5 hrs boat tour. 2 hrs were hotel pick up and Transfer to port. So a 5 hrs boat tour is by far not the "full day boat tour" Vitator has offered. We are disappointed.

Awesome experience! They pick you up from the hotel on time. The boat ride was fantastic, you see the glaciers up close.

The tour was excellent, gorgeous views, well organized. Very relaxing and worth doing it! The only downside is they don't tell you the exact time of hotel pick up. We had to wait over 30 min in the lobby.

Wonderful tour of the Spegazzini and Upsalla glaciers. Staff had just the right amount of care and friendliness without being over the top. Lots of information in Spanish and English and opportunities galore for great photos. Good boat and transfers smooth and professional. Highly recommend it for all ages

Glaciers are very impressive! The tour lasts a full day, you will need to have your own lunch because the ship has only a coffee shop. Be prepared for the wind.

Actually this tour met all my expectation enjoyining all graciers as expected. Staff service during the tour is also very good. One improvement point if I could request, lunch service during tour will be appreciated, but we can bring it into the trou, so it would not be a big deal. I would like to recommend this tour for all visitors without any doubts.

Amazing tour, it was very beautiful and everything was arranged. Bear in mind though that you have to pay the national park entrance fee. But it was totally worth it. They contacted our hotel in advance, and confirmed pick up time with us. Everything went according to plan and we were happy with the guides as well.

O passeio pelos rios de gelo é excelente e único, mas muito caro devido em parte a uma única operadora que faz o percurso. Não há concorrência. A operadora local graylineargentina demorou muito para me passar as informações só chegando a fazê-lo um dia antes da viagem nos deixando muito preocupados em função de muitas outras atividades que tínhamos que programar. Me comunicava por e-mail e deixaram um recado por telefone

quase tão impactante quanto a visita ao perito moreno, sugiro que faça antes de ir ao perito moreno e na volta peça para descer no glaciarium, pra voltar tem vans do glaciarium gratuitas de hora em hora

Pague una excursión en El Calafate, para recorrer los glaciares. Valide la actividad un día antes por precaución y me confirmaron la realización de la misma. Nunca llego el vehículo a recogerme, cuando me contacte resulta que no había ninguna actividad ese día. Como consecuencia perdí todos los costos de alojamiento y transporte. Actualmente me encuentro esperando el reembolso de la tarifa cobrada por parte de Viator; sin embargo, aun no he recibido ninguna respuesta.

Fabuleuse excursion sur le lac au pied des glaciers, bateau vaste et confortable, les billets étaient déjà livrés à l'hôtel lorsque nous sommes arrivées !!! A faire sans hésitations !
