My mother and I had a great time. Andrew was a wonderful guide. He took us around the city pointing out interesting landmarks and then way out high above the city for a fabulous view of the bay and peninsula below. It was gorgeous. Anyone looking for something different than the large, crowed tours, I definitely recommend Andrew. It was a great way to spend part of the afternoon seeing Dunedin!

It was a very fun spin around the area. Andrew is flexible and gives a lot of info as you go and at stops as well. He is a nice guy and we enjoyed ourselves. Coats and sunglasses are provided as well as storage for your bag.

Passengers do not need to wear helmets, host is very knowledgeable about the city although it’s difficult to hear at speed.

Fun way to get a flavour of Dunedin and the Penninsula. Andrew gave us lots of info about the history of the area. Great idea to supply use of thick jackets as it was a little chilly for a 'summers day'.

A great exhilarating drive though Dunedin and around the peninsula. Ideally a couple more stops for photo shots would have been good, plus trying to listen to Andrew's commentary while driving was nigh on impossible.

Thanks for taking time to write a review. We are glad you found the tour exhilarating. We stop at the best stop for photos, it’s an hour tour, if we stopped more often we would not see as much of Dunedin. We go slow in a lot of areas so you can get a photo. When it is windy in exposed areas it can be slightly difficult to hear. The majority of the talking is done at low speed so the vast majority of people don’t find it difficult to hear. We can’t put a microphone on the trike because the wind will go through the microphone.

Great unique way to see Dunnedin and the surrounding area. We went on a Colder rainy day so we had to dress warm. It was hard to hear the tour guide at times but it was a lot of fun

Thanks for coming on a tour. Yes not the best day for a tour. We always provide warm jackets and give the customers the option if they want to go. We never intend to go in the rain but sometimes drive through a slight shower.

An amazing way to see Dunedins beautiful spots, beaches, country side and things you would never get to see on a normal sightseeing tour…all at an adrenaline pace, wind in your hair experience. Myself, my wife and my 2 teenage kids loved this experience!!! Definitely recommend!!!

Could have been better. The driver drove at breakneck speeds. No helmet for us. Stopped once for pictures and could not get pictures since we were going so fast I was afraid of dropping my phone. The sights were great but we felt rushed and got back in less than an hour after doing speeds I could not see with my eyes watering. Need to go slower and see the sights versus going so fast we missed a lot.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. The trike is registered as a car so no helmets are required, we have seat belts and the trike is incredibly stable.
The majority of the tour is at 50kms, with a small percentage at 80kms down the motorway. Some parts in St Clair going past the beaches we are going 10kms. It seems faster on the trike but to say it’s breakneck is simply not true. . Yes we only stop once on the hour tour, it’s been the same for 9 years.
No one has ever dropped there phone on the tour.
We took the exact same tour route as every other tour, which normally takes an hour if not longer. We left slightly early and the traffic is very quiet at this time of year so we were a few minute early. I normally add a couple of streets on but only noticed as we turned into the Octagon, so this is a fair comment.
You received the exact same tour as we normally take and as you can see from other reviews this is not the common consensus of the tour.

An amazing ride around the streets of Dunedin with commentary. Quickly we found ourselves travelling through exclusive suburbs seeing homes clinging on to the ground overlooking Dunedin and the harbour. Then over to some stunning views and beaches before heading back to Dunedin. Highly recommend this excursion.

Great commentary along the way also stopping for photos. An amazing day. Even realising g we would not make our shuttle bus back to the ship they kindly dropped us off at the dock
